Jonnyboy Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 How much did the poor sods inside SMS pay for this ? More than you all season.
saintadam Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Have we scored? Sorry I meant dominated possession?
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Get Martina off and just sell him now. Cedric on and give him a licence to run freely down the right wing
Convict Colony Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I always listen on the wireless. As a Dalek can you recieve it via your own metal prong thing ? is it DAB or AM etc ? I expect Norfolk only have AM and those wind up radio's that they used to say were destined for Africa on Blue Peter :-)
Minsk Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I've tried. Don't think they allow for listeners overseas. FA Cup rights, I suppose. Half-time, commentary just started on OP
St Lej Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Saints in "utterly devoid of creativity or ideas in breaking down a resolute defence" shocker. Who'd have thought it. Just need Norwich's first shot on target to go in and we'll have a full house.
Hamilton Saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Half-time, commentary just started on OP Yes, just noticed. Thanks.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I think Puel was right to give some of the fringe players an opportunity but they need to perform. Long hopeless apparently, as is Martina, whose career here surely is over.
St Marco Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I've tried. Don't think they allow for listeners overseas. FA Cup rights, I suppose. I use an iP hider thing called hide my iP. Just set it to UK and should be able to listen.
doggface Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 assuming we are the usual static 4-3-3 tonight?
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 For those trying to blame Puel, on the touchline he was absolutely furious.
Hamilton Saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 For those trying to blame Puel, on the touchline he was absolutely furious. Substitutions to come early, then?
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Substitutions to come early, then? Let's hope so. Martina off would be good, and a one way ticket from Southampton airport.
adrian lord Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 For those trying to blame Puel, on the touchline he was absolutely furious. Hitler was furious a lot of the time but I still blame him for WW2.
alpine_saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 For those trying to blame Puel, on the touchline he was absolutely furious. Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him.
trousers Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Half-time, commentary just started on OP Slightly earlier than the players then
St Lej Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 For those trying to blame Puel, on the touchline he was absolutely furious. Does that mean he's any less to blame then if he's angry? Some of the worst managers in history have been "shouters". Not says my he's a terrible manager but our style is predominantly down to him
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him. Clearly, as the Liverpool game showed
Greenridge Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Let's hope so. Martina off would be good, and a one way ticket from Southampton airport. It really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone let alone Puel.
alpine_saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Clearly, as the Liverpool game showed Wow, one of the last 6 games. And he still rotated them afterwards. 6 changes every game - no wonder we play crap.
Dalek2003 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him. I hope not. One thing for sure, the team has lost its purpose and belief. Astonishing in such a short time. SFC are in a nose dive with no sign that the Captain is at the controls.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Oh god, there are some right idiots texting in to Solent
alpine_saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I hope not. One thing for sure, the team has lost its purpose and belief. Astonishing in such a short time. SFC are in a nose dive with no sign that the Captain is at the controls. The Captain wants a transfer
Dalek2003 Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Oh god, there are some right idiots texting in to Solent You mean they are concerned.
Matthew Le God Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him. You've made 27,380 posts on here in the last 10 years,I challenge you to make a list linking to 10 positive posts of your from those 27,380. I'm guessing you will struggle as pretty much everything you ever Say on here is negative. Don't you get bored of it? The last 7 and a half years have been a relative golden era for the club compared to most of its history.
saintant Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Usual backward thinking just like the passing. Should have started with a strong side, gone at them hard from the first whistle and put the tie to bed early. Now it looks like being a long slog and might go to penalties. If we then go out it will be extremely unsatisfactory not to say unprofessional. I despair of Puel's lack of tactics and nous.
alpine_saint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Oh god, there are some right idiots texting in to Solent Because they are fed up and dont agree with your bizarre perspective ? You have really found your moment, havent you ?
Batman Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Oh god, there are some right idiots texting in to Solent Has it occurred to you that you may be the idiot and may even be in the minority of those who think puel will be our manager long term
RoswellSaint Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him. How on earth do you come to that conclusion? From listening to the radio?
Norm Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 By the sounds of things, I was correct to turn down a Comp' ticket to the game.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Has it occurred to you that you may be the idiot and may even be in the minority of those who think puel will be our manager long term Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager. So accept it and support the team.
Gunnery Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 (edited) Hes completely lost the team - they dont listen to him. Please explain how you know this? Can you list all the training sessions/team talks you have sat in on? Edited 18 January, 2017 by Gunnery
St Marco Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Time to earn your pounds Mr Puel. Change tactics and attack more please.
Batman Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager. So accept it and support the team. Les Reed has said many things that have not become reality.
adrian lord Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 How on earth do you come to that conclusion? From listening to the radio? To be fair, there has been an abundance of circumstantial evidence, almost from the first game.
Katalinic Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager That means nothing - the dreaded vote of confidence
Saints foreva Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager. So accept it and support the team. Les Reed said the same about Pochettino and Koeman...
Gunnery Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Wow, one of the last 6 games. And he still rotated them afterwards. 6 changes every game - no wonder we play crap. I wish you would t say "We" it infers that you and I are part of the same.....we certainly are not.
Donatello Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager. So accept it and support the team. Recently?
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed said the same about Pochettino and Koeman... We didn't sack them though. We're not going to sack Puel. I think the board need to support him more in the transfer market.
Batman Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Starting to realise that les Reed talks unadulterated shyt at times
adrian lord Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Need some subs. Unless we are playing for pens?
James Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I'd love to know how many times we've failed to score in the first half of a game this season.
Pamplemousse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Judging by the commentary, there's a bit more action in the final third for us. We're still giving the ball away a bit too much though.
Gunnery Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 (edited) We didn't sack them though. We're not going to sack Puel. I think the board need to support him more in the transfer market. Agreed, the board have so far let him down, he's been left with a post Mane/Pelle/Wanyama squad and hasn't yet been given the chance to add his players to it, we are woefully short on quality players right now, how is that Puels fault!!?? blaming the manager for everything is out of order.....no surprise with some of the thick ****s on here though. Edited 18 January, 2017 by Gunnery
Katalinic Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 We didn't sack them though. We're not going to sack Puel. I think the board need to support him more in the transfer market. So we can continue to play boring negative football using different players?
Lighthouse Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Starting to realise that les Reed talks unadulterated shyt at times Not quite cornered the market though, has he.
Shroppie Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 I assume nothing's happening? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Miltonaggro Posted 18 January, 2017 Posted 18 January, 2017 Les Reed has come out and said he is our long term manager. So accept it and support the team. Thankfully very few people believe a word Reed says...
