derry Posted 16 January, 2017 Share Posted 16 January, 2017 The transmission wasn't great, kept pausing and repeating commentary. The performance was tepid, slow and a bit weak. I only saw the second half but the Saints midfield looked like an open door. Arsenal just walked through for the goals. We had one up front, slow build up no real penetration. what is it with Saints? Nobody seems to want to take a defender on. As soon as somebody appears in front the ball goes sideways then backwards or backwards. No running the channels and quick balls. Isgrove has gone backwards since Barnsley.

Just a shame it isn't the previous model which at least worked.

derry Posted 17 January, 2017 Share Posted 17 January, 2017 For those that did watch it - how did Gordos do? Did he play the full 90? Yes but didn't stand out as an established international playing with kids should.
