Channon's Sideburns Posted 10 January, 2009 Posted 10 January, 2009 Found this on You Tube..after Souness' resignation...4 mins in, interview with Lowe and Harry Gration. Just goes to show, 11 years on, the same rhetoric is being used.... http://uk.truveo.com/Lowe-must-go-Part-2/id/3736034407
Golden Balls Posted 10 January, 2009 Posted 10 January, 2009 Strange how so little has changed...yet so much has....
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 January, 2009 Posted 10 January, 2009 Arrogant and egotistical then and the same now..
tpv01 Posted 10 January, 2009 Posted 10 January, 2009 looking to the right a lot at about 4:30 classic sign of being "creative" or just telling lies.... http://www.bodylanguagesignals.com/Eyes2.html
Channon's Sideburns Posted 10 January, 2009 Author Posted 10 January, 2009 Do you notice though that no-one dares to ask questions like 'Not unlike your use of a PR company' anymore?
Leslie Charteris Posted 10 January, 2009 Posted 10 January, 2009 Where were we then Rupert, where are we now? You refused to take any responsibility for our current position at the AGM. So where does the blame lie? (I wouldn't bank on a large Saeijs addition to our defence guaranteeing CCC survival!)
badgerx16 Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 (edited) Ah, good old Robert Lowe. No, to quote Gration's first introduction it's 'Robert' Lowe, wonder were he is now ? Edited 11 January, 2009 by badgerx16
Mole Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 Ah, good old Robert Lowe. Robert Lowe OUT - Rupert Mugabe IN.
alpine_saint Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 11.5 years on, and absolutely NOTHING has changed.... ...except the fact we are about to get relegated for the second time and the existence of the club is in doubt. Same old congenial meetings leading to losses of key staff. For Nigel Pearson read Graeme Souness... Same old Roopey bleating about being given a bum steer... Pathetic. The man has learnt NOTHING
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 I don't remember this but watching it now, this morning, I felt a cold shiver and a little bit nauseous. Can it really be 11 years? And the sight of Askham lurking in the background didn't help my mood.
alpine_saint Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 I genuinely wonder sometimes how Askham manages to move about Southampton completely unfettered and unmolested. Is it because he is so John-Major Grey that no-one recognises the Bastard who Destroyed Southampton Football Club For Personal Gain ?

INFLUENCED.COM Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 It is 11 years on and agree that the SAME characters are heaping negative attention upon our club, those characters include Lowe and McMenemy. Hone in another link states they had backers thats the sort of bolllocks that put us in the current financial cart so for me Wilde remains the villain and should be subject to the abuse which is directed at Lowe, Lowe came into the club as a business man and has come back the same, protecting his investment, self preservation call it what you will but Crouch, Trant, Mcmenemy had the opportunity to rid our club of his divisive presence and failed, spectacularly

And the sight of Askham lurking in the background didn't help my mood. Exactly my feeling. Almost unbelievable that the shares started out at near 150p per, and immediately began a steep downward trend.

70's Mike Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 Exactly my feeling. Almost unbelievable that the shares started out at near 150p per, and immediately began a steep downward trend. just showed how much the club was UNDER sold and priced by Askham
Channon's Sideburns Posted 11 January, 2009 Author Posted 11 January, 2009 I felt the biggest comparison between then and now is that.... It was somebody else's fault then and it's somebody else's fault now. Agreed, Askham deserves the biggest amount of stick because, Wilde aside, he was one of the biggest orchestrators of this mess. As was Wiseman et al.
Oz Posted 11 January, 2009 Posted 11 January, 2009 No, to quote Gration's first introduction it's 'Robert' Lowe, wonder were he is now ? harry gration is doing a 'fred dineage' on a yorks tv station
