Greedyfly Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Mid table players, end up mid table... hopefully.
mrfahaji Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Can't blame the keeper for all the chances we've wasted. Should be out of sight by the time the free kick is scored.. But you can blame him for a terrible piece of goalkeeping to let in a soft free kick. They are two separate complaints.
Supersubpuckett Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 i wonder how many nice possibilities clod will reflect on
OttawaSaint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Too many high ball into our midgets. Meat and drink for there cbs.
BotleySaint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Relegation form. We need to turn it around somehow...
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Another puel Master class Oh thank god, we were getting worried about you!!!
hypochondriac Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely?
Heisenberg Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely? Fa cup
the colonel Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 15 attempts only 2 on target..says it all
Katalinic Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Another game where we have enough chances but no quality in the finish - everyone could see we were light up front in the summer except for Reed - still at least we have the best pool of midfielders in the division...
St Chalet Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Why? Because it went through the wall? (Still waiting for a response to my pm by the way) He was beaten at his starting position.... Will reply to your PM later.
OldNick Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Puel will come good, it is the hand he has been played. The way we played the other night shows how we can do given tme
Saints foreva Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Getting bored seeing the first proper shot on our goal go in. Seems to happen every other week.
hypochondriac Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Oh thank god, we were getting worried about you!!! Are you satisfied with this? The run we are on is appaling and worse than that, the games are dull as dishwater and we don't score any goals or even get any shots on target. It stinks.
Disco Stu Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 We're totally incapable of scoring. I've never seen a season like it!
adrian lord Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely? I've been saying for a while that the Swansea game maybe pivotal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mr X Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 basically puel has traded a possible cup final for a **** poor league place, & playing for the majority utterly boring football in the league.............. i voted stay but Im losing patience with puel now
Dalek2003 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely? Not looking good. We need to get in a few key signings.
washsaint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Knew that would happen. We played really well and controlled the game (as we have most of the season) and yet could not score in a brothel. Chance after chance wasted (as ever). Unfortunately Redmond and Tadic are absolutely godawful. Awful mistake by Romeu and Forster just terrible. This is not on Puel any longer - they played really well on the most part today - this is on the club. It is painfully clear we need better attacking options and yet nothing. I feel sorry for Puel - he has been bad;ly let down by the club
nta786 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely? If we drift down to 15th and below then definitely. But then when you think about it that is the case for clubs like Stoke and Bournemouth (nothing to play for apart from finishing as high as possible)
ohgulydoprado Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 ****ing useless, same old story, dominate the game with our toothless attack not finishing anything, then concede a **** goal due to the fact our goalkeeper's a gangly freak show. If we go out of the EFL Cup we should sack Puel and get ready for next season with someone that's up to it.
Saint_clark Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Are you satisfied with this? The run we are on is appaling and worse than that, the games are dull as dishwater and we don't score any goals or even get any shots on target. It stinks. Of course i'm not. Todays performance has been a lot better though, nowhere near as negative as it has been.
eurosaint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 1 shot on target Massive lol at us Why is that funny for you ? Proper fans are disappointed not laughing out loud
jamesfp1 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 We really need to add some quality this week.
Ohio Saint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 We are a bigger mess than Botleigh Grange (Assuming nothing changed since the eighties)
tobes8 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Absolute garbage yet again...from the highs of midweek to this. If anyone still thinks we are too good to go down then you really need a reality check. Our board most likely dithering in the transfer market. We have one decent performance in every 4/5 games and people think that's totally acceptable.
5string Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Getting bored seeing the first proper shot on our goal go in. Seems to happen every other week. To be fair, he's made a couple of decent saves this match - just not that one!
badgerx16 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Opposition teams don't have to defend well against us, there simply isn't any goal threat.
Toomer Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 (edited) Puels, Reed get a someone in who can score. Thank christ there are three or four sides that are worse than us. Edited 14 January, 2017 by Toomer
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 We need some ****ing shooting practice, FFS.
washsaint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Another puel Master class You are a prize t**T. This is nothing to do with Puel: they have played well but the finishing is awful. This is on the club not strengthening where everyone knows we need strengthening. Until we can start taking chances we are going to struggle.
hypochondriac Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Knew that would happen. I feel sorry for Puel - he has been bad;ly let down by the club That's complete balderdash. We haven't played "really well" at all. It was turgid with the occasional chance like we have played for most of the season.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Still time to score and get a point. Come on Saints!
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 We badly need to invest money. Feel sorry for Puel, being left with this.
Saint86 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Have we had a shot since they scored? This is a joke, and the apologists / clappers are just as bad as our tactics. God ****ing awful
hypochondriac Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Of course i'm not. Todays performance has been a lot better though, nowhere near as negative as it has been. Yet our shots on target start suggest otherwise. It's been very dull once again and 4 league losses in a row is really really poor.
tobes8 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Puel will come good, it is the hand he has been played. The way we played the other night shows how we can do given tme Liverpool were terrible... are you les reed? Wake up.
sfc1976 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Pretty sad how far we have regressed. Another summer raping and keeping Puel will see us down. If we survive this year that is.
Heisenberg Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Puel has one of the most expensive squads in Europe, we show glimpses (Liverpool, AFCB) BUT we are so inconsistent.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Our crossing is woeful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dalek2003 Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Puel has one of the most expensive squads in Europe, we show glimpses (Liverpool, AFCB) BUT we are so inconsistent. We are consistent in the league, consistently unable to score and win.
hypochondriac Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 You are a prize t**T. This is nothing to do with Puel: they have played well but the finishing is awful. This is on the club not strengthening where everyone knows we need strengthening. Until we can start taking chances we are going to struggle. This apologist stuff is starting to lose its effectiveness. If course puel has some culpability for this awful run. We certainly didn't play well and we look like losing again having barely threatened the goal all afternoon.
del boy Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 Still time to score and get a point. Come on Saints! I don't think you're allowed to write that sort of stuff on here
Saint-Fred Posted 14 January, 2017 Posted 14 January, 2017 If we lose this and lose to Liverpool there will be nothing left to play for this season other than to avoid relegation. In that scenario surely we have to be considering puel's position? Surely? not sure even if we won today there would be much to play for in the league?
