Three London based clubs who are, apparently, subject to pressure to sell/give up their grounds and relocate due to the value of London property.

No particular affection for any of the three clubs but perhaps symptomatic of the pressures on leisure activities compared to the requirements of the property market

Having been there, I can't believe the land on which The Den has been built on is worth anything...

If you've lived anywhere within about 30 miles you'd know it's worth an absolute fortune!!!! [emoji20]

If the ground is worth so much, they should be able to secure big loans on it, buy better players, get promoted, buy better players, get promoted. etc etc

Then no need to sell the ground.

of course, there is always a down side to this......

Hmm as a financier, what would be more interesting, loaning to a football club or a property developer?

Think Millwall are the most central club in London after Chelsea (maybe even before), and Bermondsey is too central to too many things, so it's one of the property/demographic hotspots at the moment.

Craven Cottage is effectively a heritage site, but I'm surprised QPR aren't facing similar challenges, then again the bubble has well and truly shifted East.
