St Chalet Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Come on Saints, start 2017 better than we finished 2016.
The Saint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 (edited) Hi. Any Modbro feed please, can't find our game...!! EDIT OK, found one Edited 2 January, 2017 by The Saint
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 I ve been reading the build up thread towards the end... We have thrown in the towel apparently
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 JWP and Redmond starting. Given up before the first kick, it seems. And Boufal being on the bench despite it being his last game before AFCON just shows this is bloody-minded dogmatic rotation for rotation's sake. Puel out Here's the only rallying cry the Saints need.
Tamesaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 I ve been reading the build up thread towards the end... We have thrown in the towel apparently Its amazing isn't it. Makes you wonder why we didn't save on the travel costs and just give them the 3 points.
ohgulydoprado Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Cedric has to be the softest player we've had this decade... rested every other game (sometimes more) and can't take a challenge without sporting some sort of headwear or going off.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Forster makes a save! So you are on of those that was sarcastically cheering at SMS v WBA
Saint_clark Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 SportsnationHD has let me down for the first time. HD stream is too jumpy to watch, standard stream is just a green screen except for a strip at the top.
BotleySaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Back foot already. hopefully we can stay strong.
Batman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 stephens on for cedric SURELY bertrand would have been a better bet?????
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Cedric has to be the softest player we've had this decade... rested every other game (sometimes more) and can't take a challenge without sporting some sort of headwear or going off. Are you a physio?
St Marco Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Midfield is getting passed too easily right now.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 SportsnationHD has let me down for the first time. HD stream is too jumpy to watch, standard stream is just a green screen except for a strip at the top. No that HD stream is fine. The players are just a bit jumpy after coach Alpine's team talk and first training session.

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 stephens on for cedric SURELY bertrand would have been a better bet????? whoever he picks you will complain won`t you
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 stephens on for cedric SURELY bertrand would have been a better bet????? If he isn't fit enough to last 90+ then why would you put him on for 85+?
angelman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 I can feel it in my bones....JWP is about to do a mazy run and score a stunner.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 I can feel it in my bones....JWP is about to do a mazy run and score a stunner. Could be vitD deficiency. Have a glass of milk!
Batman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 If he isn't fit enough to last 90+ then why would you put him on for 85+? so, he would not have come on if it was McQueen that went off injured? fair enough
Saint_clark Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Cedric has to be the softest player we've had this decade... rested every other game (sometimes more) and can't take a challenge without sporting some sort of headwear or going off. Massive gaping wound on the back of his head apparently, but let's have a go anyway. Second time he's got an injury like that this season I believe - shows commitment to my mind.
alpine_saint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 What a ridiculuos match thread. Ottowa and ALWAYS have appointed themselves thread-Stasi and are jumping on any dissenters as soon as they post
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Massive gaping wound on the back of his head apparently, but let's have a go anyway. Second time he's got an injury like that this season I believe - shows commitment to my mind. Just a flesh wound.
St.Patrik Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Well that didn´t stop Terry Butcher did it - players these days are so soft.... ; ) Massive gaping wound on the back of his head apparently, but let's have a go anyway. Second time he's got an injury like that this season I believe - shows commitment to my mind.

In all honesty, him sliding the way he did and injuring himself, should no longer be possible at a PL ground. I know that accidents can and will happen, but having a brick wall so close to the goal line is a little silly.
OttawaSaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 What a ridiculuos match thread. Ottowa and ALWAYS have appointed themselves thread-Stasi and are jumping on any dissenters as soon as they post Who the heck is "Ottowa"
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 What a ridiculuos match thread. Ottowa and ALWAYS have appointed themselves thread-Stasi and are jumping on any dissenters as soon as they post Not really we have just not thrown in the towel like you did on the build up thread
Saint Billy Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 What a ridiculuos match thread. Ottowa and ALWAYS have appointed themselves thread-Stasi and are jumping on any dissenters as soon as they post Dont they know that there's a game going on ffs.
Tamesaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 What a ridiculuos match thread. Ottowa and ALWAYS have appointed themselves thread-Stasi and are jumping on any dissenters as soon as they post Ridiculous isn't it. People actually supporting the team and not moaning!! Who would believe it of supporters??

I know that accidents can and will happen, but having a brick wall so close to the goal line is a little silly. proper ground thought innit. even more proper because it is in Liverpool....special and all that
Nolan Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 stephens on for cedric SURELY bertrand would have been a better bet????? Surely the one who has played as a right back before its the better bet?
adrian lord Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Dont they know that there's a game gowing on ffs. It's the club's social media PR crew.
Batman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Surely the one who has played as a right back before its the better bet? wish that was the case for redmond earlier this season when we decided he was a striker
miserableoldgit Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 proper ground thought innit. even more proper because it is in Liverpool....special and all that .....and they invented the dugout....apparently.... Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
saintsmike25 Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Although Everton look dangerous as always, we look far more streetwise today and more wiling to put men in the box and take shots. So far we are matching them.
Batman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 get in a shot on target. keeper never had to move but we got one
BotleySaint Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Redmond .. no danger. Just doesn't seem to have the shot power or accuracy to place it properly. Hopefully he'll improve.
angelman Posted 2 January, 2017 Posted 2 January, 2017 Surely the one who has played as a right back before its the better bet? better than JWP's efforts vs WBA
