Just as an aside the Arsenal game last Boxing Day kept coming up on social media today, and especially Cucu Martinas opener, even now that was one hell of a strike....... Not sure why I hadn't noticed it before but not only does he bend it inside the post but right round the back of Monreal (I think).

As great as Sigurðsson is hes 27 now and would cost us £14-20m I'd expect (todays rates)

Ask yourself what hed be worth in 2 years and you can then instantly rule him out as a saints signing

Im greateful for our policies as wasting money on proven premier league quality and proven goal scorers with no resale value is a complete waste of time imho

Id defo prefer to gamble on unknowns and hope for the best

swansea are in real trouble

they have a better side than their position reflects

What can you expect with the idiotic managerial choice that they made. There were experienced managers available and they chose someone from the MLS or similar.Anyway Sunderland Hull and Swansea are all as good as down and everyone else not interested above midtable can coast through the rest of the season.

That's what they said about Leicester 2 years ago. And Palace before that, and ...

After 11 matches. Nice they gave him a chance.

A lot of clubs are very short term these days guess that's down to the PL gravy train. Once upon a time going down was painful but survivable these days the money makes clubs look no further than staying up each season. I imagine Pardew will rock up in Wales in the next few days....
