Batman Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 you have to laugh. we almost gave the a goal yet we offer no threat up top ourselves as per
5string Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Good cross from Tadic, JWP in good position, free header. Wide. Ooh, then Boro mess up a gilt-edged chance.
Plastic Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 This is our level now. Hanging on by our fingernails, at home, against boro.
austsaint Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 I'm sorry to continue the JWP bashing but how do we end up with him in the box to try and head a goal?
Greenridge Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 FOOK JWP!!!!! Stop moaning. Support ffs.
SuperSAINT Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Sounds like we are creating more chances for Boro than we are for ourselves.
Mr X Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 any ball to our forward is just a hopeful long range punt no one supporting them whatsoever
Edmonton Saint Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 As per usual this season, turgid negative crap being dished out by the french clown.
ScepticalStan Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Boufal beats two players and both Clasie and Ward-Prowse are stood totally flat-footed. **** pass all the same but it goes to show how ineffective we've managed to make such an obviously talented player.
5string Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Boufal looking tricky again. Get him further up the pitch for more attacking options.
adrian lord Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Has Puel fallen out with the players? Seem like a possible explanation for this crap.
saint lard Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Just like the Everton result.....whatever happens today will just paper over the cracks. If we are fortunate to win that is! My god we've regressed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint Albert Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 how did they not score then! Because Boro are a very, very ordinary side. VVD and Forster did well with some emergency defending. Could have easily given away a pen.
JakkoUK Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 What has happened to our football club? We have forgotten how to play football. All the life and excitement we once used to play with in attack has been sucked out, this is truly disappointing. Please, anything.. I just want my club back.
sfc1976 Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Has he lost the dressing room, or is this considered a 'style' of play?
Batman Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 this is bottom of the table stuff. Puel needs to go
jamesfp1 Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 I keep imagining Boufal in last seasons team... then getting upset.
niceandfriendly Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Reed needs to come out and explain to us why we've decided as a club to regress so much. It was a clear plan appointing Puel to dish these kinds of performances up, he knew exactly what he was getting when he made the appointment. I think we'd all be fairly happy to accept that, so long as they come out and be completely open about it.
adrian lord Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 #bellend are you Always SFC in disguise?
Gunnery Posted 11 December, 2016 Author Posted 11 December, 2016 this is bottom of the table stuff. Puel needs to go LOL!!! Yeah sack the manager and all our problems will be gone...
Saint Albert Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 It does not help that Boro are such a negative side, but it works for them. They've apparently lost once away so far this season.
austsaint Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Boufal showing some class - no one on the same wavelength. Our mid-field is completely static.
Batman Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 just think for a moment. THIS IS the reaction from the last 2 results. I do not think I will be far off when I said puel wont last beyond the new year
Dalek2003 Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Omens are not good. I'm feeling a bit sick about the prospect of relegation.
Gunnery Posted 11 December, 2016 Author Posted 11 December, 2016 Boro are a very organised side, but for some reason some members of this forum think we should be smashing them...
washsaint Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 LOL!!! Yeah sack the manager and all our problems will be gone... I take it back - you're a total bellend. I would rather anything than watching this 'play' week in week out. It is utter crap and we are so defensive it is no wonder we don't create chances. Our midfield is expected to sit just in front of the back 4 which means Jrod is totally isolated and we are inviting them to come at us. Utter, utter garbage and I am sick of it
mrfahaji Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Doubt Middlesbrough have had a more comfortable away game all season.
Saint86 Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Awful so far. Relegation battle this season the way this is going. Can't score (or even threaten) and seem determined to give the opposition clear cut chances at our goal. Puel needs to go if he can't turn this around fast. Him and Reed should both be gone anyway if we come anywhere in lower mid table or lower in may. Unacceptable down turn in team performance, and once you start on that road it leads to eventual relegation.
Batman Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Boro are a very organised side, but for some reason some members of this forum think we should be smashing them... troubling them would be nice

Dalek2003 Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Boro are a very organised side, but for some reason some members of this forum think we should be smashing them... Not saying that Boro are not a good side, but it is fair to say that last season we would have expected to beat a side like Boro. Now they look like our rivals, which would suggest we are are lowering our ambitions to staying up.
5string Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 1 minute added on. Even the ref's had enough. Boufal silly booking for kicking the ball away. Probably meant to hit the advertising board, but missed.

This "style" is absolutely awful on the eye.
Gunnery Posted 11 December, 2016 Author Posted 11 December, 2016 BOOING at half time...just like the skates do...very helpful
Edmonton Saint Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 just think for a moment. THIS IS the reaction from the last 2 results. I do not think I will be far off when I said puel wont last beyond the new year Yep after the bull**** result against Palace, we were going to bounce back against Beer Sheva(that went well) then all the usual troops were out saying we would bounce back against Middlesbrough, and as usual we haven't looked like scoring. I fear Puel is out of his depth and has lost the dressing room as they are certainly not putting it all on the line for him. We are just dour and lifeless.
striker Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 This is why I hesitate when people just see we don't score goals and say "we have to get a striker". Austin has been scoring fine, Long has showed he can score just last year, and Jay Rod has shown he can score when healthy. Forwards make runs to get open and need to score when they get service on those runs. If the midfield is not hitting them, supporting them, or attacking at all, the strikers are isolated and can't do anything. Its a team game and everyone has a role. I think our issue is more the offensive side of the midfield game.
