Batman Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 From 1-0 down Watford just took a 3-1 lead with just under 30 mins to go
IOWSaintDaz Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Williams looks shocking today for Everton
Pamplemousse Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Imagine the meltdown on this forum if we had only 1 win in 10. Everton have got some tough fixtures coming up as well
Greenridge Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Imagine the meltdown on this forum if we had only 1 win in 10. Everton have got some tough fixtures coming up as well And yet they're still 3 points and 3 places above us.
OldNick Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 From 1-0 down Watford just took a 3-1 lead with just under 30 mins to go yeah but Everton were the first to have dugouts
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 And yet they're still 3 points and 3 places above us. Yeah!! Bring back Ron
Greenridge Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Yeah!! Bring back Ron How many times and on how many threads are you going to keep posting the same thing?
OttawaSaint Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Looks like the elbow didn't even contact Allen in the face. 1-0 Stoke
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 How many times and on how many threads are you going to keep posting the same thing? Two if that's OK with you? If not then don't read my posts.
Pamplemousse Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 ALWAYS_SFC always manages to get under people's skins, love it. He speaks more sense than most people on this forum.

No he's a #crushingbore and the only thing that unifies this place. At least for a fifty-something year-old mess, he's toned down on the childish invectives p***k, t**t, c**t etc. Perhaps his five days in the wilderness did him some good Edited 10 December, 2016 by shurlock
Lighthouse Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Live table... 17th - You don't need to rotate your players in Europe 19th - Why can't we show some ambition and sign players like Payet.

Lord Duckhunter Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 And yet they're still 3 points and 3 places above us. After losing at home to a championship side in the competition we are in the semi final of.
LGTL Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Leicester are Premier League champions and in the next round of the CL. I wouldn't give a **** if we sat in 17th if that was us.
shurlock Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Hello boy... why are you not using your "oh so funny pal" line Variety is the spice of life, isn't it pal.

Leicester are Premier League champions and in the next round of the CL. I wouldn't give a **** if we sat in 17th if that was us. My point was that playing your strongest 11 in the League and Europe is going to catch up with you eventually. Would I swap? Depends if they go down really. Anyway... how did we not score against Palace.
Pamplemousse Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Results so far are pretty good for us. Bournemouth losing, Stoke losing, hopefully West Brom will lose tomorrow at Chelsea.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Variety is the spice of life, isn't it pal. Forgot the "?" didn`t you boy, surprising for someone as "clever" as you think you are...
Dark Munster Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Leicester are Premier League champions and in the next round of the CL. I wouldn't give a **** if we sat in 17th if that was us. Neither would I. But some Leicester fans are starting to turn on CR. We're not the only club with fickle fans.

Depends if they go down really. Anyway... how did we not score against Palace. Not sure rotation (or lack of it) has anything to do with results, especially as they got out of the gates so slowly. If it is an issue, it's more likely to manifest itself towards the end of the season when all squads tire. No the main reason, imo, is that Leicester is still struggling to adjust to winning the league, esp it is now a scalp for other teams. If Europe is a factor, it may be that the team finds easier to 'get up' for the CL.
doddisalegend Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 (edited) Got to love the PL for its competiveness. Just look at Bournemouth beat an inform Liverpool 4-3 one week lose to Burnley the next. Its a cliché but there really aren't any easy games in the PL.....well maybe Sunderland ...its nip and tuck every week. Edited 10 December, 2016 by doddisalegend
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Man city 3-0 down within 20 mins!!! Pep .... Gone by Christmas
Edmonton Saint Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 John Stones really isn't very good. Overrated.
suewhistle Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 If what we read in the press is correct.. I suppose Saints in signing him (or renewing his contract) in the first place may have had to compromise on a low release clause amount, but I'll wait and see if that is the case.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 He read it on Spazweb.... Ah.... Gospel then
stevy777_x Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 If what we read in the press is correct.. I suppose Saints in signing him (or renewing his contract) in the first place may have had to compromise on a low release clause amount, but I'll wait and see if that is the case. In that case, what is the point of him signing a new contract in the first place? Had he not signed he would have had still 4 years left with no release clause. Les is a tart if he agreed to that, and I would seriously question whether or not he knows what he is doing.
angelman Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Release fee £25m Suarez had a release fee of £40m and how much did he go for?

Batman Posted 10 December, 2016 Author Posted 10 December, 2016 Suarez had a release fee of £40m and how much did he go for? wasnt that because he signed a new deal after the arsenal thing?
shurlock Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 It's not the case. Glasgow is lying to gain attention. Like it or not, it was reported by the press. It's probably utter b*****ks but it didn't originate from here.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 (edited) Like it or not, it was reported by the press. It's probably utter b*****ks but it didn't originate from here. There's release clauses and then there's releases clauses, as we found out with Toby at Spurs. Mirror reports a clause and claim they've seen a copy of his contract , Spurs deny it. Turns out the truth is somewhere in between with the clause not kicking in till 2018. Same with Suarez's infamous clause. Arsenal wanted him,bid £1 over his clause , he wanted to go. Why didn't he sign then, my understanding was that the clause was so vague that Liverpool claim it just meant he could talk to clubs who met it, but not neccesarily sign for them. I'd guess VvD's "clause" is somewhere in the middle. I don't think it was made up, but I can't believe we'd be stupid enough to insert or agree to a clause that means he can bugger of this Jan or even next summer. My guess would be that he has a "Toby" clause that kicks in the summer his original contract ended, or maybe the summer before . Anything else doesn't make sense. Appy Posted 10 December, 2016 Posted 10 December, 2016 Fonte to Everton? Yeah they need another ageing defender.
rooney Posted 11 December, 2016 Posted 11 December, 2016 Yeah they need another ageing defender. It will be like Harry's Skates.
