lickierambert Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Tonight, 7pm, BBC 2. We are ball number 35 Anyone fancy the final part of the Crystal Palace trilogy? Thought not
Colinjb Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Barrow away. Just for the convenience. Would far rather have Eastleigh though, that would be superb.
Pamplemousse Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 The first leg of the EFL Cup semi final is straight after this, so ideally a non-league team at home and we can name the U21s.
Gunnery Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Pompey at home!! Eh!? What's that you say!!!?? Pompey were eliminated from ALL cup competitions before November!!?? This can't be so, after all they are the biggest most bestest club in all the land!!!? Brighton at home please, it's been a while since we beat them.
benjii Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 A minnow, please. Not a Prem or Champ team - that's boring!
Bad Wolf Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Plymouth away would be great. Exeter wouldn't be terrible either.
ericb Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Somewhere i've never been away from home please, quite like the look of Sutton, Cambridge, AFC Wimbledon or Burton Albion as they'd all be new grounds to tick off.
View From The Top Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Burton Albion or Port Vale as both local and in the case of BA, a new ground. In fact, any new ground would be nice.
Hatch Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Are Spurs playing FA Cup games at Wembley as well this year?
SW5 SAINT Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 A minnow, please. Not a Prem or Champ team - that's boring! A minnow you want - pompey are already out, out of all cups by November......
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Barrow, last met exactly 50 years ago!
JRM Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Somewhere i've never been away from home please, quite like the look of Sutton, Cambridge, AFC Wimbledon or Burton Albion as they'd all be new grounds to tick off. Pretty much the same for me, although i've done Sutton would like to go there in a competitive game, Wimbledon would be decent but as it's not a new ground for me i'd go for Burton or Newport County. Sutton would be ideal really, play the u23's , keep our team fresh for Liverpool at home on the Wednesday , we'd still have enough to get through i think. Definitely do not want another Premier league side. Fingers crossed Liverpool get Everton or Man United, a tough physical game just before they travel to St Marys would be ideal. i've got a feeling we'll get Derby at home.
davefizzy14 Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 A draw against a lower league team would be nice. Someone like Plymouth or Blackpool.
DuncanRG Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 The first leg of the EFL Cup semi final is straight after this, so ideally a non-league team at home and we can name the U21s. Optimism, I like it! Assume Pompey are out.
CB Saint Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 A lower league team so we can give them a proper humping and get our strikers used to the concept of scoring again
LGTL Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Away v somewhere I haven't been. Guaranteed we'll get a dull home draw though.
Toomer Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Tonight, 7pm, BBC 2. We are ball number 35 Anyone fancy the final part of the Crystal Palace trilogy? Thought not We probably will end up with them away.
trousers Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 (edited) We will be drawn against a championship team from East Anglia. Without a shadow of doubt. Edited 5 December, 2016 by trousers
spyinthesky Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Any one see Sutton Utd Manager, Paul Doswell (and his son) interviewed after Sutton's last minute winner on Saturday, say he wanted Saints as he and his son are massive fans? Of course 'Dozzie' is a local lad but it was good to hear someone look forward to playing a side other than Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Utd and the other usual suspects .
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 We will be drawn against another premier league team. Without a shadow of doubt. How negative can you get? Meltdown
Batman Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 the worst team at home please Portsmouth it is then
S-Clarke Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 the worst team at home please Portsmouth it is then They're actually too bad to face us, they were knocked out in the first round. Yep, that's right, the flaming first round of the FA Cup. #Mega
nta786 Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 non league team away. then again with poorer pitches forster will have another shocker again!
Panda Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Barrow away. Just for the convenience. Would far rather have Eastleigh though, that would be superb. I went to a third round tie in Barrow back in the sixties. What a miserable place and what a miserable day. I hope 50 years on it has improved if you lot have to go there. I can't even remember the score, possibly we won 1 - 0. I know the locals were not impressed ...
Batman Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 They're actually too bad to face us, they were knocked out in the first round. Yep, that's right, the flaming first round of the FA Cup. #Mega They are probably happy about being out of that micky mouse cup. They have a stadium expansion to plan for
CB Fry Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 It's already been leaked on Twitter and it's Leicester away.

Sutton is a 3G astro pitch these days, so an away draw there would be interesting.
John Boy Saint Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 The first leg of the EFL Cup semi final is straight after this, so ideally a non-league team at home and we can name the U21s. That's Liverpool nailed on then.......
Saint_clark Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 It's already been leaked on Twitter and it's Leicester away. The entire draw? I'll put a bet on it.
CB Fry Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 (edited) The entire draw? I'll put a bet on it. Done.I've got an insurance bet on Norwich away as well. That was on Facebook. Edited 5 December, 2016 by CB Fry
Batman Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Draws of note. Barrow v Rochdale Man u v Reading Hull v Swansea Sunderland v Burnley Millwall v Bournemouth West Ham v Man City Birmingham v Newcastle Everton v Leicester Liverpool v Newport/Plymouth PNE v Arsenal Stoke v Wolves Spurs v Villa Bolton v Palace Norwich v Southampton (crap draw)
CB Fry Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Done.I've got an insurance bet on Norwich away as well. That was on Facebook. Not bad.
LGTL Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 For **** sake!! There were some cracking games left in there and we got Norwich.
John Boy Saint Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 I really thought we were off on an adventure then Naarwich gets pulled out....... Boo!!
Batman Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 what is the bet Liverpool and United are still the televised games
Bad Wolf Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Could have been worse. That'll be a tough game for sure. I was desperate for either Plymouth away or Eastleigh at home
Baird of the land Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Not a great draw imo. Was hoping for home draw against lower leagues rather than away against a good championship team.
Saint Albert Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 I can see the Redmond story lines already. Could have been worse I suppose.
Give it to Ron Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Perfect game for Dalek as Carrow Rd ST holder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
davefizzy14 Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 Not a bad draw. Would have like a home draw but cant be too picky I suppose.
S-Clarke Posted 5 December, 2016 Posted 5 December, 2016 I honestly thought we were going to face Palace again, two of the last few left in there.....thank **** we didn't.
