5string Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 I've been out. Have I missed something? Reports don't read well. Forster error & a couple of poor corners? Any chances for us? Oh dear
austsaint Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Tough day. Will someone kindly remind me what it is about Ward-Prowse that is so "good"?
Badger Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 According to the BBC stats: 59% possession 9 corners 17 shots (only 3 on target - pathetic) Inevitably - 0 f'kin goals
Katalinic Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 utterly disgraceful performance from our keeper. never EVER claims anything any where near him. this loss (and many others) down to him. Forster OUT The first goal was calamitous but the defence have been missing for the other two.

meatball Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Just look at the stats. Whilst we have been fairly poor going forward, Palace have offered NOTHING and scored 3 lucky scrappy goals. We must have the record for both the most goals conceded from first shots on target and most goals conceded per shots ratio. Right this one off as a freak and move on. Batman Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Puel is in no way to blame. Nothing wrong with the tactics, but the players have played poorly and too many individual errors. behave. He is easily to blame for his part in all this our forward play is atrocious. he sets the team up ffs

SaintTex Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 all 3 goals were easy tap ins for Palace. They really haven't had to work for it. oh well.. we were really flat today and seemingly unfocused; maybe looking ahead to a really HUGE game on Thursday at St. Mary's. Let's get to the knockout stage! COYS!
Edmonton Saint Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Just look at the stats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk But the problem is, it's not been a freak. We keep allowing teams to score from only one or two shots on target per game, and our attacking play is woeful. Hence a recipe for disaster this season.
Mallagroth Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 just when you start to get excited and think we are on the up and have sorted out our problems. BANG we lose to some utter dross with performances worthy of relegation teams.
St Marco Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Ah well what a difference a game makes. Pardew was about to be sacked and now only 3 points behind us. Seeing as we are awesome that means Palace are awesome now too right?
Pamplemousse Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 behave. He is easily to blame for his part in all this our forward play is atrocious. he sets the team up ffs We've created chances, just once again players taking the wrong option and our usually brilliant defence having an off day. OldNick Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 we didnt do enough business in the summer to be able to fight on 3 fronts. If we get through on Thursday in the Europa all things will lokk rosy again and we can stop doing quite so much rotation
redkeith Posted 3 December, 2016 Share Posted 3 December, 2016 Feared the worst when the Soccer Saturday team all backed us, and then when the commentator mentioned that they hadn't kept a clean sheet, and that that benteke hadn't scored at home. Still, we looked slightly the better side until that Forster howler, and then we don't mpick up at set peices again. Huffed and puffed, with everything coming through Boufal, who then gets taken off. How Redmond stayed on is a mystery, the same goes for Ward Prowse. Our midfiedl was awful today. No forward runs, and slow passing. Palace were on a bad run last December until they played us. Long Austin and Boufal to start on Thursday please.
