I agree with the sentiments BUT it is not any old picture of a train but a gift to the club in respect that we were honoured to be first to play at their new stadium.

Talk about defending the in defensible:rolleyes:

We weren't the first to play at their new stadium (it had been opened a year before we got near it). I bet they've been handing out copies of that train to every team who has played there siince it opened.

I think the whole thing is rather petty, McMenemy is milking it for reasons in addition to his ego being affronted, but your post is just so out of touch it's unbelievable.

As for Cork, we should have done whatever we could to have kept him, but he is now history. The only thing worth mentioning about last night is that a potential relegation candidate failed to pull away from us.

My Nazi reference to Saint Stevo last night was in response to what happens on here far too often.

Namely people trying to tell people what they can or cannot talk about or start threads about.

These people show themselves for the arseholes they are.

A forum is supposed to be about a democratic exchange of views, but there are those who would like to suppress views that do not fit their agenda.

They are as pathetic as Lowe.

My mistake then, I was under the impression it was for that reason.why would Doncaster send out pictures for no reason? Its odd

Yep! As far as I can remember we reached the pay-offs when he wasn't here.

As opposed to ending up mid-table (with our strongest squad in the CCC) and probably (but hopefully not) being relegated with him at the helm.

thats what seasons are made of, losing in play off semi finals

Hope you are looking forward to Southamptons own Kristalnacht at the end of the season.

You are the reason this forum should have an over 18's criteria so that twa**ish kids like you can't get involved.

I don't often feel that certain members should be banned but resorting to pro nazis sentiment really is the stuff of morons.

For what ever reason Cork didn't want to play for us, get over it move on. If he had really wanted to stay here he would have done any sums of money involved won't be massive and I'd give you good odds on his spell here having cost us nothing. He went to Watford for what ever reason, be it a coach he knew or the fact that it's close to family and friends who cares he's gone. I doubt the clubs stance had anything to do with his decision. All that needs to be said is thanks for the commitment and performances and anytime your looking for a new club pop in and say hello!

two things stop me feeling this is a bad as some other decent players who left

1) he was on loan and we knew he was only passing through

2) not saying it was either him or a new CB, but (albeit 2nd hand first impressions) the new CB sounds a better options at CB and Schniederlin can play the same role, possibly less defensively but more attacking than him in midfield.

Would rather he stayed and played alongside Schniederlin or at least as back up.
