LOL. The BBC just started their coverage we a default of 60%-40% posession in favour of Liverpool before the ball had been kicked more than once.

Utterly typical.

Yeah, heartbreaking. It's all a massive agenda

Except you hate Southampton Football Club far more than the BBC could ever do.

We're sitting back but it's working so far. Only problem is we're offering nothing going forward. Just need to get in level at half time.

Remember when we used to attack teams at home?

Chill out.We are playing the league leaders who are in their best form 4 more than 10 years. 30 goals they've scored so far.

Oh they score goals. That's a good enough reason not to try and score one ourselves I suppose

do saints not realise we have to score goals to win match's we look like we are satisfied to defend for the majority in the hope of a lucky break, risky tactic against a side of Liverpool's quality

Yes, let's open up and attack against a team which has averaged 5 goals in their last 2 games. What's the point in being 0-0 at half time, I want to have a few chances and be 3-0 down.

Let's be honest a 0-0 draw would be a very good result. Strange seeing us set up like this at home , but Liverpool are so good going forward. Dare I say it, but this is a game for Shane Long. I'd bring him on for Austin

Spectacular football being played by both teams. Not a ton of shots, but thrilling midfield battle, and some amazing one-touch football. Game's being played at an incredible pace. VVD and Forster have kept us in it. Promising touches of genius from Boufal, but we need more. Davis understated hero. He's given away a couple times but harassed and won back more than that. Romeu incredible. He had one backward headed flick in competitive situation that took my breath away. All to play for. Goals a-coming. Head says 1-2, heart says 2-1.

I'm happy so far, honestly we have stifled Liverpool my main issue is we miss Tadic and Boufal/Redmond are too isolated when they break forward and Austin looks so leggy and off the pace. Personally I think we need someone like Shane Long to get in behind and get us further up the pitch as Austin isn't likely to score today. Very pleased with the two CM's Holjberg and Romeu and VVD is having a cracking game.

Games like this we just need to keep our heads and we will get a chance to score, I'd like us to win more set pieces as that's where we WILL trouble Liverpool, all in all 0-0 at the break against a VERY good Liverpool side, I'll take that.
