Hamilton Saint Posted 11 November, 2016 Posted 11 November, 2016 A truly great, and humble, artist. Superb career as both poet and songwriter (he also wrote two novels). He spent much of the 60s on Hydra, in Greece. Probably why I first visited Greece in 1973. [video=youtube;DU-RuR-qO4Y]
dronskisaint Posted 11 November, 2016 Posted 11 November, 2016 The man was a genius, a one-off, an original - his style was his own and his later songs were as fresh and original as his early ones. He had lived and loved and had a gift for conveying his experiences in to words that resonated with so many. So glad I got to see him at the O2 a couple of years ago, it was a privilege to watch. RIP Leonard Cohen...thank you
Shroppie Posted 11 November, 2016 Posted 11 November, 2016 I have few regrets in life, but not hearing him live is one of them. Immense talent and a sad loss. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
