ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 That's exactly what i'm suggesting, to just hold onto the lead and play it safe in the naive belief that Hull were never going to score. Lol, so you are sayig he just wanted one goal and then sit on it... FFS...
sandwichsaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Who will be first to mention Thursday football? No excuses today, second goal and we win the game.
5string Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We came from behind against Inter. We can do it again vs Hull. Boufal, Redmond & Austin up front? Come on, decent forward line should get us some more goals.
Strangely Brown Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 if we dont win, I will take a dump in both hands and clap. will post a picture to prove it. Are you going to wear any gloves?
Heisenberg Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 He is not on the pitch though is he, or are you suggesting he told the team to be poor in attack No idea what he told them, what ever it was it's not been right and he's accountable as manager Hull are the worst team in the league and even today they've been garbage
DT Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Clasie. Bloody have a go! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 woeful from clasie in the box why are we utterly terrible attacking from open play?
Mallagroth Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 slow and predictable. We went through a purple patch where our forwards actually moved a little bit more and our midfielders looked to go forward first than take the easy pass back but last few games we have reverted to type. When you watch nearly all other teams they dont take the extra touch on the ball to make a decision that our players seem too. Very odd, but we were like it last season too.
Saint-Reece Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We will finish 14th. We are badly run. We have a poor manager. Puel has nothing in him, our team lacks quality and goal scorers and we are preparing once again to sell our best players. Look at the Swansea score..... they did the same. 14th is the start of our fall. Time for new owners, new money, new ambition, a new board and new players. Quick. Not a knee jerk.... been saying this all summer. F*ck off you utter c*nt.
Norm Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 How the heck are we losing this? Against such a poor Hull?
stknowle Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 ****s sake Clasie was through with a clear chance to shoot and turns back.
DuncanRG Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Said it before, but not a fan of Davis. He is so limited and offers little going forward. I'd start Ward-Prowse or Hojbjerg over him personally. Seriously? I'd be delighted if Ward-Prowse or Hojbjerg played like Davis did.
verlaine1979 Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We came from behind against Inter. We can do it again vs Hull. Boufal, Redmond & Austin up front? Come on, decent forward line should get us some more goals. Unfortunately it's having cack like Davis behind them that is the reason we're not creating anything.
Edmonton Saint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Is anybody else starting to get concerned about Forster like I am? He didn't get anywhere near either of Hull's goals. It seems this season like any half decent shot on target goes in. When was the last time any of us found ourselves saying 'brilliant save Fraser'? I'm really struggling to remember. Yep I said the same against Inter. The guy never seems to make anything better then slightly average saves at the moment. Any shot on target seems to go in.
SaintRobbie Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Puel has no idea how to sort out the final third. Clueless.
Saints foreva Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We don't even look like scoring, against a championship side.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 How the heck are we losing this? Against such a poor Hull? Puel planned it apparently
washsaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 I have to say that, based on the last 2 outings from Bertrand, that McQueen is a better option for us right now. bertrand has been terrible
Dalek2003 Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 A very tight league table. Just three points separating the 10th place team to 18th.
saintadam Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We are standing still when passing the ball, no movement and still a lot of back passes.. START PLAYING
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Some of you u tter **** heads are pleased...
BotleySaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Odd performance from us. We are usually creating chances and wasting them. But today we just seem sleepy.
SaintRobbie Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 ****s sake Clasie was through with a clear chance to shoot and turns back. And you're surprised - Puel has had them all doing this all season. Davis is not crap people. The managers requirements of him are. We have good players but a poor manager.
DT Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Jay Rod. Is he having a laugh? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
washsaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Definitely think that JWP and Hojberg are a far, far better pairing than bloody Davis and Clasie. Never really understood the love fest for Davis
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Utter Utter Utter Utter Shït!! Is that an admission
OttawaSaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Utter Utter Utter Utter Shït!! It's only football, we'll have our off days just enjoy it.
Jonnyboy Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 I'll settle for a top half finish and some good cups runs. Well never better 6th place anyway.
nta786 Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 We will finish 14th. ***** me We always lose to a relegated team every season. In 2012/13 it was Wigan at home 2-0 and QPR at home In 2013/14 it was Cardiff at home 1-0 and Norwich away 1-0 In 2014/15 it was Burnley away 1-0 Last season it was Norwich away we lost 1-0 and we drew 1-1 to Villa at home
Edmonton Saint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Definitely think that JWP and Hojberg are a far, far better pairing than bloody Davis and Clasie. Never really understood the love fest for Davis Agree.
ScepticalStan Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 woeful from clasie in the box why are we utterly terrible attacking from open play? Because our attacking midfielder, Steven Davis, can't do things attacking midfielders are meant to do, like score goals, thread passes, beat players and set up chances.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 And you're surprised - Puel has had them all doing this all season. Davis is not crap people. The managers requirements of him are. We have good players but a poor manager. You must be creaming yourself with this...
DuncanRG Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Odd performance from us. We are usually creating chances and wasting them. But today we just seem sleepy. It's an Inter hangover. Can't muster up the same physical intensity, which is understandable to a degree, but we seem a little weary mentally as well. Still got enough to get a goal back.
Sour Mash Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 How we miss Mane and Pelle on a day like today. We should have been 3-0 up. Exactly this. Not Puel's fault he doesn't have the players.
OttawaSaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Utter Utter Utter Utter Shït!! Good title for Batmans thread with the ****tig in the hands
Mallagroth Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 hmm watching this im starting to feel a little hungry... Chinese suddenly sounds like a decent plan.
Saint Albert Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Saints get a free kick in a decent spot. Come on JWP
adrian lord Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Yes we are much weaker up front Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OldNick Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 And you're surprised - Puel has had them all doing this all season. Davis is not crap people. The managers requirements of him are. We have good players but a poor manager.Robbie, behave Puel is a very good manager. The squad is not deep enough to play with energy all the time.
Dalek2003 Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Exactly this. Not Puel's fault he doesn't have the players. Yep. Mane scores 2 for the Pool
Heisenberg Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Good title for Batmans thread with the ****tig in the hands Batman = the silver lining (brown lining)
RoswellSaint Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 Absolutely shocking Serious questions need to be answered here What are they?
Pass the Dutchie Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 I think we'll get one in. A draw will still be a bummer though.
Batman Posted 6 November, 2016 Posted 6 November, 2016 crap crap crap final ball we are utterly shyte in attack in open play
