S-Clarke Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 They moved it to tomorrow night, as it will be based from the Liverpool/Utd game.
rick1976.4.38 Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 coz its only little old Southampton and Watford,so of no consequence to the rest of the nation, hth
Fozzybear Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I sincerely hope for this reason alone that it ends up as the dullest 0-0 tomorrow of all time. Arseh0les.
SW5 SAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I sincerely hope for this reason alone that it ends up as the dullest 0-0 tomorrow of all time. Arseh0les. This, you can only imagine the Klopp Mourinho love in by the media.......
Ludwig Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Well, if anyone saw the Middlesborough vs Watford game then they might not be so quick to demand highlights. Let's be honest, the first half of our game wasn't exactly brilliant either. So why would you ignore one of the biggest games in English football in order to put out highlights of 2 halves of dire football and one of a goal less ha;f between us and Burnley? It's not a conspiracy or anything to **** your pants about. In fact, it would be odd if they put MOTD2 on today and ignored the game tomorrow.

They knew in advance that today's games would be dull.
Ludwig Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Of course. They knew in advance that today's games would be dull. Jesus. No, what they knew in advance was that one of the biggest games of the English calendar would be played on the Monday. Why is that such a difficult thing to understand?
Wes Tender Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Because of our 34 shots on goal, there wasn't enough time in the programme to show them all.
Lighthouse Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Jesus. No, what they knew in advance was that one of the biggest games of the English calendar would be played on the Monday. Why is that such a difficult thing to understand? There are frequently big teams featured on MNF, I could be wrong but this is the first time I can remember them not showing MOTD2 on a Sunday, in order to accommodate it. Don't see why they can't just have MOTD3, 'extra time' or whatever they want to call it. I doubt there is anything gripping on BBC2 at 11pm on a Monday, which couldn't be moved to accommodate it.

Nope they have done this a number of times in the past- I can remember one off the top of my head two seasons ago where Chelsea vs Arsenal was played on MNF so they pushed MOTD 2 to Monday- that game finished 0-0 Also I think they'll show our game first anyway because, again off the top of my head, BBC can't show Utd vs Liverpool until after 11pm.
Fan The Flames Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 Jesus. No, what they knew in advance was that one of the biggest games of the English calendar would be played on the Monday. Why is that such a difficult thing to understand? Why couldn't they have shown Match of the Day 2 Sunday night and another programme Monday night. It's not too difficult to understand that people want to watch highlights of their game that night.
Ludwig Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 I understand that people want to watch the highlights of their match on the day. I also understand that other people don't want MOTD on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Saint Without a Halo Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 And the super Monday match ends in a turgid boring 0-0 BBC fssss up again!
John Boy Saint Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 Zzzzzzzzzzzz did I miss anything? Looking forward to seeing the editing suite guys and gals polish that turd into a glittering spectacle in the 40 minutes they have to do it in: standby for 10 minutes of inane waffle and cobblers.
broken spoke Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 Can't show the game before 11pm, that's ********... it's on now....
John Boy Saint Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 Wow nearly 30 minutes of bloody drivel on a dull game, standby for 2 minutes of Saints
Bad Wolf Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 Those highlights didn't do justice to how dominant we were or how good Burnley s keeper was.
SW5 SAINT Posted 17 October, 2016 Posted 17 October, 2016 That was well timed, got home just in time to see Saints..........
Saint Without a Halo Posted 18 October, 2016 Posted 18 October, 2016 Because of our 34 shots on goal, there wasn't enough time in the programme to show them all. That was one on average in less than every three minutes! Puel was asked pre match now he has a good Defence how is he going to score goals I think the 34 shots is the biggest by any team. In the premier this season therefore that was a good answer Was pretty sure the BBC would only select four or five and I was right
VectisSaint Posted 18 October, 2016 Posted 18 October, 2016 Jesus. No, what they knew in advance was that one of the biggest games of the English calendar would be played on the Monday. Why is that such a difficult thing to understand? So why did you bring up how boring the Boro game was? You seem to be the one that has a problem with understanding. FFS.
charlie saint Posted 18 October, 2016 Posted 18 October, 2016 Umm... because good, bad or indifferent, there were only two games on Sunday? By waiting until Monday they could have an extra, scintillatinly exciting game to cover. I for one am glad it worked out for them
kitch Posted 19 October, 2016 Posted 19 October, 2016 I sincerely hope for this reason alone that it ends up as the dullest 0-0 tomorrow of all time. Arseh0les. You got your wish
