ART Posted 12 October, 2016 Share Posted 12 October, 2016 Have been somewhat amazing at seeing Neil Warnock bringing in a number of players out of contract to bolster his Cardiff. Out of contract players normally get discussed on the forum after the transfer window closes. With a number of players adding to the injury list, and a huge number of games ahead, are there any potential short term gems the club could consider. Zed Posted 12 October, 2016 Share Posted 12 October, 2016 Warnock has brought in Chamakh, Sol Bamba, and Junior Hoilett, who are all ****, or are these the sort of short term gems you're after.
Mowgli Posted 12 October, 2016 Share Posted 12 October, 2016 There's generally a good reason they are out of contract. If they are lucky, they could perhaps associate themselves with a struggling Championship side. It's about the sort of strategy we would have looked at pre Cortese to be fair. I like to think we've moved on a bit though I'm sure my rose tinted glasses are affecting my judgement.

I'm going to say no, or we'd have signed them already.

Lambert on loan also looks like decent business, he's still better than bottom 3 Championship even now. Was hoping they'd go down, too. :/

david in sweden Posted 16 October, 2016 Share Posted 16 October, 2016 You're right as well. I hadn't even noticed it was a permanent deal. Well that's just embarrassing for him. Don't think Rickie's forgotten how to score goals, perhaps as soon as Cardiff hit a bit better form, he'll start scoring a bit more often. 35 in February,.I don't think we can expect to see him amongst the top goalscorers - even in the Championship, though he must be a good deal for £2 mill.
