david in sweden Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 My guess, with Inter to come on Thursday is Forster Martina VVD Fonte McQueen Romeu Davis JWP Tadic Austin Redmond Or possibly Yoshida and Targett, but think they'll be saved. Reed for Romeu and Mccarthy for Tadic whenever possible. Could see Omolomu. Hojbjerg and Clasie saved for Thurs and hope Long's fit by then. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk ..or maybe even.... Olomola ?
SW5 SAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I don't think this often, but we really should hammer them. I wish you hadn't said that......
Pamplemousse Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I thought that before the Sunderland game as well.
Hamilton Saint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Does anyone have Merrington and Blackmore yet?
SuperSAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Damn. Thought Boufal was nailed on to be on the bench today.
eelpie Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 A cheeky pre-match diversion on Guardian online. Poch's best Saints team: "Preamble: The Southampton team news is in, and this is what Mauricio Pochettino has gone for: Forster; Clyne, Van Dijk, Lovren, Shaw; Schneiderlin, Wanyama; Bale, Tadic, Lallana; Mane." I think that Romeu is playing better than Spiderman at present.
jasonb Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Damn. Thought Boufal was nailed on to be on the bench today. Just building the anticipation a week or two longer.
SaintAndy14 Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I think Burnley will be hard to break down. They will sit deep and use Vokes as their outlet. If we take a while to break them down then we may become nervy - an early goal would be great as it would force Burnley to go for it a little more.
Hamilton Saint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 No Merrington and Blackmore yet. What the hell ...
Hamilton Saint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 It starts four minutes before KO. WTF!!
Alwightmush Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Wow new speakers that work! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
SuperSAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 It's destined to be a loss with Parry saying 40 times in the last 2 minutes about our good run.
Plastic Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Good save, not quite sure why the commentators are creaming themselves about it though.
Edmonton Saint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Sean Dyche complaining about the length of the grass.
striker Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Sean Dyche complaining about the length of the grass. He's just mad because Puel has hair.
OttawaSaint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Bright start, good save by burnley keeper. Hopefully won't be one of those performances from him today
SuperSAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Looks like Targett has done his hamstring. Bertrand, Benali & Targett in the space of a few days.
OttawaSaint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Like that Redmond and Austin took that time to talk tactics with Puel and then Tadic's encouragement for McQueen. Really together team.
Saint Albert Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 A bit of a blast from the past on the Prem's international feed...David Prutton is doing colour commentary.
Ohio Saint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 A bit of a blast from the past on the Prem's international feed...David Prutton is doing colour commentary. Viv Anderson coming on?
Plastic Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 That injury has stunned us a bit. Need to get back into the rhythm.
SuperSAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 That injury has stunned us a bit. Need to get back into the rhythm. Yeah, it's all a bit pedestrian. Need to up the tempo.
Batman Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 That injury has stunned us a bit. Need to get back into the rhythm. that and they have moved their shape a little
striker Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 I think Burnley has backed up the bus (so to speak) after Austin's near miss.
OttawaSaint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Looks like Burnley sitting back looking to hit quickly on the counter, we need to be patient and forge some openings with good passing and movement.
SW5 SAINT Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Looks like Targett has done his hamstring. Bertrand, Benali & Targett in the space of a few days. I must have missed the Benali injury, that will be a loss with the fixtures that our coming up........
Batman Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Reckon Claude is going to get a bit loud at HT tempo gone and now a foul throw, which is inexcusable at this level
OttawaSaint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 LOL. Martina penalised for foul throw but then Burnley's subsequent throw was also a foul...
OttawaSaint Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Reckon Claude is going to get a bit loud at HT tempo gone and now a foul throw, which is inexcusable at this level So he should be subbed straight away and shunned by his peers?
simo Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Was it me or did Redmond not leave the pitch after treatment then ?
adrian lord Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 not a game for the neutrals at the moment
saint lard Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 What an awful atmosphere and dour game this far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nolan Posted 16 October, 2016 Posted 16 October, 2016 Was it me or did Redmond not leave the pitch after treatment then ? Rule change for this season: If a player is fouled and hurt by an opponent who subsequently receives a yellow or red card for the challenge, the injured player may be quickly treated on the pitch without the need to leave the field of play.
