mrfahaji Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 If we deploy the same team as against West Ham, it leaves four outfield players (VVD, Romeu, Tadic, Redmond) who featured heavily in the game last night. If Puel wants to rotate and rest some of them, who are the alternatives? Obviously Tadic was meant to be rested as well, so imagine he was in the plans for Sunday. If Boufal is due to return soon, perhaps Puel is thinking that Tadic and Redmond will have a bit more rotation in the coming months, so can be pushed a bit harder at the moment.
Lighthouse Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 We're limited by the injuries to J Rod and Boufal to an extent, I'd go with the same team who started at the London Mortuary last week.
Chris27687 Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Forster Cedric VVD Fonte Bertrand Romeu Hojberg Davis Tadic Redmond Austin Should be a good game. No idea of the result - would take a draw now.
Pass the Dutchie Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Forster; Cedric, Van Dijk, Fonte, Bertrand; Romeu, Hojbjerg, Davis, Tadic; Redmond, Austin. 3-1
Saint_Ash Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Pretty much the first team will be back for this. We need to start climbing back up the league. Could go 7th is results go our way and slip down about 6 places if they don't. Leicester are struggling with the Champions tag and not having Kante shielding the defence, they are there for the taking in my opinion and I think we'll win 1-2. My Team --------------------Forster---------------------- Cedric------VvD-----------Fonte-------Bertrand --------------------Romeu----------------------- ---------Hojbjerg-------------Davis-------------- --------------------Tadic-------------------------- ---------Redmond--------Austin----------------- Obviously the shape of the side changes but that would be my 11.
Stevie61163 Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Last game before the international break.................put out our strongest side and let the players be tired for their countries
Baird of the land Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Easiest selection decision ever imo, the team that played well and beat West Ham away. Hopefully they can repeat the trick and beat Leicester.
doddisalegend Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I see on foxestalk they reckon our boys at still in Israel after their flight was delayed......
Give it to Ron Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I see on foxestalk they reckon our boys at still in Israel after their flight was delayed...... Yes was on SSN earlier when the crucifixion of Eric Black was in flow but no-one about. Shimon Perez funeral caused chaos not back to Bournemouth until tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Even though we've kept some players back a 6000 mile round trip with delays and such like just isn't good preparation for this game. Think it will catch up with us.
SuperSAINT Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Same as last week for me too: ---------Forster---------- Cedric Fonte Virgil Bertrand ----------Romeu----------- -----Hojbjerg---Davis----- ----------Tadic----------- ------Austin Redmond------

Patrick Bateman Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 Last game before the international break.................put out our strongest side and let the players be tired for their countries This. I think we'll beat this current Leicester this time round. Or at the very least get a point.
Batman Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 No you pr1ck just SSN wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk of course, I was not being serious. calm down mate

Batman Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 they had an extra days rest, were at home. We were miles away going to be a good game

for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 they had an extra days rest, were at home. We were miles away going to be a good game Two days isn't it as they played Tuesday? Saying that, it looks as if they played their first team so at least we have rested a couple of first teamers. Sunday will be the last game I attend this season before going back to Australia- the other 4 games I've been to have been our 4 wins, so hopefully my luck continues!
benjii Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I would have thought it would make sense to fly straight to the nearest available airport to Leicester today then stay in Leicester Fri and Sat night. Presumably we are travelling up to Leicester tomorrow anyway so it seems a bit pointless to go back "home" for an evening and cuts out the travel time / fatigue from Saturday. I'm sure the club knows best anyway!

Probably take longer driving up A34 than Israel flight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tajjuk Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I think he's 'back home' as in they are going back home, hence the two flags with a plane between them.
SuperSAINT Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I'm not sure we will control Slimani he is a beast. Watched him during week and looks hard to play against He does look impressive. They have some nice striker options: - Vardy - Slimani - Musa - Okazaki - Ulloa They've got something their for just about any option you'd want. Pace / Heading / Graft / Power.
Saint Garrett Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 (edited) -----------Forster Cedric Fonte VVD Bertrand -----------Romeu------------ ------Hojbjerg-Davis-------- -Redmond-Tadic--Austin Edited 30 September, 2016 by Saint Garrett

bazza Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 -----------Forster Cedric Fonte VVD Bertrand -----------Romeu------------ ------Hojbjerg-Davis-------- -Redmond-Tadic--Austin That definitely should be the line up. I'd take a draw on Sunday too.
Hamilton Saint Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 (edited) -----------Forster Cedric Fonte VVD Bertrand -----------Romeu------------ ------Hojbjerg-Davis-------- -Redmond-Tadic--Austin We seem to have a consensus. But are we allowed to field the same starting line-up for two games in a row. [League games, that is!] Edited 30 September, 2016 by Hamilton Saint
New Forest Steve Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 We seem to have a consensus. But are we allowed to field the same starting line-up for two games in a row. Anyone can see he's run out of ideas and has become so predictable ......... Puel out

It's a flight and a coach journey, not the Paris Dakar rally. 5 hours on what will basically be a business class private jet, drinking orange juice and watching Game of Thrones on an iPad shouldn't take that much out of them.
hutch Posted 30 September, 2016 Posted 30 September, 2016 I don't think Reed, Puel and Black will find it very relaxing

whelk Posted 1 October, 2016 Posted 1 October, 2016 .... but they're delicate little souls ... what if they've already seen Game of Thrones ? Worth watching again so have a chance of remembering who's who. There's always Entourage as well
Lighthouse Posted 1 October, 2016 Posted 1 October, 2016 Interestingly, Matt just made exactly the same argument on SS.
New Forest Steve Posted 1 October, 2016 Posted 1 October, 2016 Interestingly, Matt just made exactly the same argument on SS. Which argument..... that Game of Thrones is worth watching a second time ?
bowers-sfc Posted 1 October, 2016 Posted 1 October, 2016 Be interesting to see the team he picks. Team were due back at Bournemouth at 5pm yesterday. Didn't land until 9pm. In for training this morning before leaving for Leicester. Essentially no rest time for vvd, Redmond etc.
sad saints fan Posted 1 October, 2016 Posted 1 October, 2016 In Birmingham with my niece, making the trip across to Leicester tomorrow. Weather up here is dreadful, bring a raincoat if you are coming.

I didn't say it was an arduous journey. Simply that I couldn't see the point in going home on Friday only to set off again on Sat. Maybe try to think about what you're reading in the future.

Sour Mash Posted 2 October, 2016 Posted 2 October, 2016 Because, you know, they live there and stuff. Are they really going to feel better for spending 2 nights in a hotel in Leicester? If St George's park was available, that might have made sense.
eurosaint Posted 2 October, 2016 Posted 2 October, 2016 Other half is sick -I have a spare PM me if interested - I will be at the ground from about 1 Shouldn't you be staying at home to comfort and care for her ? :)
Lighthouse Posted 2 October, 2016 Posted 2 October, 2016 If St George's park was available, that might have made sense. I'd still have taken a night in my own home TBH, with my loved ones and creature comforts I'd find it much easier to relax. Leicester's not all that far really, either.
