Thought his general play was class tonight. I can't comment on Sunday because I only saw the highlights but taking tonight and last Thursday into account, he could be a real asset to our reason. I'm in admission, I was about to give up on him.

Fair play to him, has been good the last week, although against 2 weak teams. Seems to be playing more centrally than the start of the season which suits him so much more.

Glad he is back amongst the goals, but jeez he missed some sitters in the last two games, although one was offside saving his embarrassment against Palarse.

There is no way a premier league club like us would let an overweight player anywhere near the bench let alone the starting line up! Charlie Austin has, and will always be a 'big' lad, but over weight he is not!

Looking at the Palace players in yellow the other night compared to our lads in their flattering stripes, if Charlie looks like he is carrying a few extra pounds then the Palace players looked a right bunch of lardy tubsters..................... even more so when they were standing next to the ref!
