Seem to remember an incident of alleged Rape in Sweden in 1982, involving two of our players. Both were well loved by the fans, I have not named them, and no charges were filed if memory serves.

Who was the player that was done for drink driving a couple of years ago?

was that Guly?....had to leave the keys of his Porsche with the Police .....and walk home afterwards.

and wasn't James Beattie once convicted of being over the limit ....whilst sitting in a stationary vehicle ?

Was it Ulrich Van Gobble who went on run from Dutch police?

In 2006 a financially troubled Van Gobbel was suspected of embezzling lease cars. He fled, which led to a 'wanted' ad in a newspaper, to get him to a court session. Eventually he was sentenced to 4 months in prison, which he didn't serve. He did 120 hours of community service instead.

Fair do's to him though. Through his Community Hours Fine didn't he start up a charity and continued doing charitable work long after his Community Service had been completed?

Also didn't he slap a mouthy skate in a restuarant in Manchester whilst at Everton on England duty?

This of course was an admirable and understandable act, so in no way a bad thing to do ;)

And of course don't forget the honourable Nathan Dyer - stealing from handbags in a night club wasn't it?

Honourable's are heroes in this case.

Think Beattie chucked a noodle spoon at the Skate, that was the story I heard.

GULY! Apparently made a habit of it..... Thankfully he was finally caught.

A very very very average footballer who kicked round town like he was David Beckham - sadly more passion off the field than on it.

I'm not sure Shilton had his finest moment in a Saints shirt (Tina or Shelia - can never remember), but the taunts were non stop

Mark Wright and Steve Moran (I think) questioned on rape following a pre season game in the Nordics - No action taken

Ging gang was great mate, I mean it was the championship and league 1, he wasn't going to be a world beater.

lol ... totally agree, not sure quite why but always had a soft spot for Guly despite his flaws. Remember how excited we all were on our first Brazilian 'superstar' signing

Wasn't Pelle (the defensive midfielder one) Brazilian?

Think he was Portuguese

Pele (not Pelle) was Cape Verdean, though he was born in Portugal. Is it true he is currently playing for Totton?

Tadanari Lee was banned for driving after he was caught speeding three times in three months (silly boy).

It may be that he was racing to get away from his biggest and bestest fan, Mongboard Chief Turkish.
