igsey Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Kids, reserves and Redmond please. Wouldn't risk any of our most important players for this - so no Forster, VvD, Fonte, Bertrand, Romeu, Høj or Austin. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Think Palace will win as their side will be a great deal stronger than ours No biggy IMO but a win would be a good result to keep the momentum going any streams???
Heisenberg Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 I'd be going all out on this - what are we saving ourselves for? Possible 10th finish on the league? And possibly last 16 of the Europa? Nah **** that this is a genuine chance to get to Wembley and to actually win something.... To actually add to that trophy cabinet Les Reed purchased a few years back

Chris27687 Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Can't imagine Austin is involved in this with the upcoming match against West Ham and, i forget which one, the comments from the Dildo salesman owner.

striker Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 I support rotating the squad for this one, WHU is more important. I'd play a lot of the youngsters (Reed, Hesketh, etc), play JRod if he is avaliable, at most play Redmond and Austin one half, and let the young striker get a run.
Wimborne_saint Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Taylor, Hesketh, Reed, Austin, Long, Fonte, Tadic, Davis, Cedric, Martina, JWP, Clasie all in the squad by the looks of the arrival pics
Batman Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Sportsmania will show it- gamezone 6 i think yep, just looked. Cheers

nta786 Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 - Saints have kept only one clean sheet in their last 19 League Cup ties against Premier League opponents, although it was a satisfying one when they did, as they beat arch-rivals Portsmouth 2-0 in 2003.
Wimborne_saint Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 McCarthy; Martina, Fonte, Yoshida, Targett; Reed; Ward-Prowse; Hesketh; Long, Austin
Globetrotter Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 McCarthy; Martina, Fonte, Yoshida, Targett; Reed; Ward-Prowse; Hesketh; Long, Austin Bit iffy playing with 10 :-) Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
nta786 Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Shortest midfield ever or... Lol I think we can win
SuperSAINT Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 So it's: -----------McCarthy---------- Martina Fonte Yoshida Targett -------------Reed------------ ---------Clasie---JWP-------- -----------Hesketh----------- ---------Long Austin---------
Convict Colony Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Really looking forward to watching Hesketh here, think he has been looking good everytime I've watched the 23's this season.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Cannot see us getting the win - they're putting out a reasonably strong team whereas we're not, but I'm glad the youngsters are getting blooded. Yoshi and Fonte have a calamity between them and I suspect that's where the winner will come from. 1-2 Palace. PS: Watch Targett get caught out and Palace catching on to Martina being our main assist down the right.
Nordic Saint Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 That's more or less Palace's first team, isn't it, with anyone left out on the bench?
Shroppie Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 We may not win but looking forward to seeing some young blood in action. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

Leo_ARG Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Really looking forward to watching Hesketh here, think he has been looking good everytime I've watched the 23's this season. While I haven't seen him that much I always wondered why people don't rate him. Seems very agile, good technique and good footy IQ. Maybe he is too weak/small?
stevegrant Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Cannot see us getting the win - they're putting out a reasonably strong team whereas we're not They've made 8 changes from Sunday. We've made 8 changes from Sunday.
Pamplemousse Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Mmm Zaha against Targett Zaha is awful. Targett will have him in his pocket.

Batman Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 surprisingly stronger team from us surprised Austin is starting given that he is so unfit etc
stevegrant Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 surprised Austin is starting given that he is so unfit etc The whole point being to build his stamina up, presumably.
SuperSAINT Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Good lineup for us, is it 4-4-2 ? It'll be something like post #119
igsey Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Excellent stream here with English commentary: http://www.multi-sports.eu/88.html
Shance Posted 21 September, 2016 Posted 21 September, 2016 Really looking forward to seeing Hesketh again and I really hope Reed smashes it. He's a very tidy little midfielder.
