SuperSAINT Posted 18 September, 2016 Posted 18 September, 2016 The problem with pressing football is it takes too much out of the players as evidenced by the way Pochs teams fall away at the end of seasons and why Poch never really showed interest in the cups With the large number of games we have this season we are playing a less intensive system the question is will it work? I'll take a pressing season where we fall away in the last few games & have to put up with Champions League

We need to play them where they should, and where they feel most comfortable, instead of trying to manufacture a different solution

Some really nice passing and possession based football and we've carved them open a few times. We just need someone, anyone to put their shooting boots on. Redmond has played well minus that hilarious miss.

austsaint Posted 18 September, 2016 Posted 18 September, 2016 Redmond is gash He really is. Should be 3 or 4 up, but the inadequacy of our strikers, especially Redmond is stark. Some lovely bright moments of build up play - Davis, Tadic, Clasie, Bertrand all good.
