Looks like he's making the running to take in other sports, not a case of Saints inviting him to get involved.

England Rugby team manager consulted. poor investment in playing staff in favour of "relying on the kids" - Saints relegated and some of the darkest days in our history followed.

Frankly we were so far ahead of the game with this one we're going to have to do it again to remind everyone it was our idea in the first place.

Did Gordon ever go on to better things? In Scotland, maybe, but he was never able to replicate the success he had here in English football.
