Somewhat surprising as VVD has been the stand out player. Ow well can't give it to VVD every month.

Romeu was pretty bad vs Watford and was out vs United. Hojbjerg was great in just about every game he played

We wouldn't sell Boufal for less than Mane and it's highly unlikely he's going to prove to be worth that in the 28 odd games he going to play for us this season. He'll need another one. Hojberg similar, he's not going to get to a level in season one where he's worth so much that a bigger club would be offering silly money next summer. We've easily got two seasons out of those two.

You're probably right; two seasons for Hojbjerg and Boufal - another one for Virgil. It's vaguely depressing to think about the exits of these guys but at least there's the enjoyment of watching top class players develop.
