Surprised BBC haven't learnt their lesson from the World Cup in 2014 when there was an outcry over his laboured performance.

He was a completely wooden f^cker devoid of any personality or charisma then, and the dullard has done nothing to improve since.

ok, i had to put up with is **** on friday night on iptv, but how the **** is he also on Motd... he needs to be culled. he sucks so many cocks if they are MUFC

I thought punditry was meant to be unbiased...

shame on the BBC

Completely agree with him. As it stands our club won't finish top half. Especially with Europe.

If you chose to watch the MU Television match feed you can expect to have biased commentary from the likes of Phil Neville. He is paid to be biased while working for MU TV. There was other commentary feeds available on Friday night.

I used to really hate listening to him, but he's mellowed and certainly had a lot of good things to say about Saints.

How is saying we won't finish top half not "unbiased"? It's not even slightly controversial. We're playing Sunday/Thursday which is unchartered territory, so perfectly possible we might just finish twelfth. Oh, the horror.

I wonder how long Sky will keep Rachael Riley, she may be ok on the eye but talk about dumbing things down to suit PC

Oh and Neville was 100% correct

Assuming Chelsea and Liverpool have got their act together, 7th is about as good as we can reasonably expect this year. It only takes 4 from the likes of Leicester, West Ham, Stoke, Everton, Watford, Swansea etc. To have a decent season and we will be bottom half.

I don't understand how does Rachel Riley helps watching it on a computer, is her head smaller than the average so it fits on a smaller screen better?

Yes, having a very attractive woman on the programme for been to letch over is definitely all about being PC.

it is about gender not letching, now if you said as she is on countdown I would agree but she has really toned her clothing down. Just a token woman to annoy with a stupid laugh. Personally I think there are a lot of very decent female personalities around who are engaging that would do a better job than Riley.

That's the trouble with the pundity around, there is a lot of ex man utd or ex liverpool players around and we all know the world is in love with those two clubs even if they have both done f all for the last few years.

That's why I like having Henry around as he at least breaks up the north west love in a bit, but would be nice to have a few good pundits appear that weren't so exclusively linked to the big clubs.

He was spot on. Had a terrible summer and have left ourselves wide open to a poor season. As it stands. Also you have to accept that the media are desperate for us to fail having been so cocky about our strategy in recent years.

Throw in a 2.1 in mathematics at Oxford. Not the best university in the country of course ;) but not to be sniffed at.
a 2.1in maths doesn't make you a football pundit. I just think it was awkward and even the normally smooth Jeff Stelling was strugling
