ladysaint Posted 17 August, 2016 Author Posted 17 August, 2016 Sorry may just be the normal pre-match one with Man U but thought they were usually on a Thursday.
ladysaint Posted 17 August, 2016 Author Posted 17 August, 2016 Admin feel free to lock if of no interest, think we are all so desperate for news.
Kingsland Red Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 Sorry may just be the normal pre-match one with Man U but thought they were usually on a Thursday. .. for a Saturday match, we play Manure on Friday evening ...
ladysaint Posted 17 August, 2016 Author Posted 17 August, 2016 .. for a Saturday match, we play Manure on Friday evening ... I am not in the mode for a Friday night match and don't think I ever will be :-)
MarkSFC Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 Sorry may just be the normal pre-match one with Man U but thought they were usually on a Thursday. They are always 2 days before the game. Wed for Fri; Thu for Sat; Fri for Sun........keep up!!
Batman Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 They are always 2 days before the game. Wed for Fri; Thu for Sat; Fri for Sun........keep up!! Yep. Got to be the pre match presser
angelman Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 I am not in the mode for a Friday night match and don't think I ever will be :-) As an aside, what really annoys me about Friday night matches is that the Championship seemed to have found itself a unique slot. But oh no, the ****ing PL needs to be on every single ****ing day. Maybe I am getting weary of PL saturation interspersed with CL, but with Friday, the PL takes away from Championship yet again.
Matthew Le God Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 Being reported on BBC but picked up on the Saintslist. Puel resigned Fonte off/staying New player in Club being sold Reckon it's one of those. Every league match we have has a pre-match press conference 1 or 2 days before it.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 I believe (and hopefully someone else can confirm this for me) that we have a pre-match press conference 1 or 2 days before it. May I be the first to say that I believe this is just a standard press conference for Fridays game.
ErwinK1961 Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 Every league match we have has a pre-match press conference 1 or 2 days before it. FFS.
Hatch Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 it may be a standard press conference, but that doesn't mean Puel wont announce that Ballotelli has signed on loan
disconnect Posted 17 August, 2016 Posted 17 August, 2016 it may be a standard press conference, but that doesn't mean Puel wont announce that Ballotelli has signed on loan Uh oh
whelk Posted 19 August, 2016 Posted 19 August, 2016 (edited) Puel is very dull Embrace the dullness. I Like him but no longer watch or listen but can also see him being a cult hero for his style. All is forgiven if you get it right on pitch. Edited 19 August, 2016 by whelk
david in sweden Posted 19 August, 2016 Posted 19 August, 2016 Puel is very dull ...perhaps only because he's not upto speed with his English football vocabulary. At least we don't have to put up with another " Pochettino-syle" interpreter. I've been trying to listen to Arsene Wenger for almost 20 years, and he still sounds just as dull .
david in sweden Posted 19 August, 2016 Posted 19 August, 2016 Embrace the dullness. I Like him but no longer watch or listen but can also see him being a cult hero for his style. All is forgiven if you get it right on pitch. Right !
niceandfriendly Posted 19 August, 2016 Posted 19 August, 2016 ...perhaps only because he's not upto speed with his English football vocabulary. At least we don't have to put up with another " Pochettino-syle" interpreter. An interpreter would be far, far better. At least that way he'd be able to give nuanced, detailed answers as opposed to him struggling to say anything meaningful in English which is what we're getting now.

He'll get better in time.
whelk Posted 19 August, 2016 Posted 19 August, 2016 I'm liking him more as an underdog with so many wnkers on his case.
