After today's game against Watford, a new manager who has one plan that doesn't seem to work, a failure to replace Mané, Wanyama and Pelle.....

 

I'm going for 15th.

 

Not going to be good - give the ball away too easily and we have hugely reduced the quality of the team - today was poor. This season without 3 high quality players by the end of the transfer window.... Not going to be pretty.

I think about 11th/12th, mainly due to our Europa commitments. Today has changed nothing, we had an absolutely dire 0-0 away at Watford last season early on.

Well 17th seems close to the norm this season.

 

It all depends on what we do in the reminder of the transfer season. If the squad stays the same we will flirting with relegation.

Thankfully there are 3 worse teams than us.

Anywhere between 8th and 12th will be a good result, providing we have a decent run in either the EL or FA cup. that will be a good season for me.

 

Losing to Man U away in August is not a litmus test as to how well the season will pan out. The Black Cats at home will be more telling.
