Micky Posted 20 July, 2016 Posted 20 July, 2016 Anybody care, anybody interested....??? After the latest England debacle in France, is anybody bothered about who takes the reins for the next? Looking at the press it appears that the FA want to go for one of the thousands and thousands of good English managers that we have in this country, and better still BFS or Steve Bruce appear to be pretty near the top of their list. Which is the lesser of two evils there? Personally I quite fancy giving Poch a go. Young ambitious manager who has excelled since his arrival in the premier league and has done well bringing on young players. Yeah, I know technically this should be in the other sports forum - but nobody ever goes there these days - so thought I would try and get away with dropping it in here.
hypochondriac Posted 20 July, 2016 Posted 20 July, 2016 I'm pleased we've gone for bfs. He has a defined style, is good at getting the best out of players, is desperate for the job and has a back to basics approach that we need right now. He is a good pick imo
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 July, 2016 Posted 20 July, 2016 Well at least he won't be saving any rivals from relegation.
hutch Posted 21 July, 2016 Posted 21 July, 2016 Why does anybody think that a decent manager would want the England job? Your boss is a comittee of halfwits. You haven't got a squad to manage. There are tabloid journalists rummaging through your bins every night. The England manager will always be somebody that has given up their proper job and wants to put their feet up.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 21 July, 2016 Posted 21 July, 2016 Dribbling buffoon! Imagine him on the bench in the 89th minute and Estonia score, the drool shooting from his mouth in complete rage as he screams abuse at John Terry and Rio Ferdinand...
