SW11_Saint Posted 8 January, 2009 Share Posted 8 January, 2009 Just that we don't believe in it,or it goes in the opposite direction when we appoint and it gets worse. Because of who we have doing the appointing... (and the last guy we replaced was perfectly adequte!)
Plumstead_Saint Posted 8 January, 2009 Share Posted 8 January, 2009 (edited) we had ten men we had ten men we had ten men we had ten men we had ten men plus i think most the man utd players care a lot more about the fa cup. plus teams have good and bad days. we can be better, we can be worse, as can they, as can derby. :smt044 Another sad apologist. Going down to 10 men has often spurred teams on to produce a better performance, England on several occasions for example. And by the way, after 10 minutes - BEFORE WE WERE DOWN TO 10 MEN - the stats showed that we had completed 75 passes compared to 189 for United. So much for our "pretty" football. Defending the indefensible seems to be a very popular pastime with certain posters. Edited 8 January, 2009 by Plumstead_Saint
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 8 January, 2009 Share Posted 8 January, 2009 Derby have a new revolutionary coaching set up which teaches players how to shoot on target from outside the box.
St Paul Posted 8 January, 2009 Share Posted 8 January, 2009 Fact is until Patterson went off, Saints were holding their own, playing some good football and looked as likely to score as Utd. Fact is, until Lucy Pinder entered the Big Brother house, I was just about to pull her.........
