Toomer Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 That's two that Hart should have saved in this tournament ****ing useless ****
doddisalegend Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 If by some miracle we get through I bet the French are terrified ?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 This is worse than the Graham Turner Turnip head wonder what vegetable Woy is ?
BotleySaint Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Fairly typical. Hodgsons messed up the team again. Players out of position etc. Faith in Hart who has made 2 big mistakes now. Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Think you're being harsh, Iceland could give them a test. Yes I guess you do have a point!!
Batman Posted 27 June, 2016 Author Posted 27 June, 2016 What gets me is when you hear pundits harp about about how good Roy is and the direction we are going Fewer now, granted. Alvin Martin the worst for it
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 It should be remembered that Iceland have a total male population between the ages of 15 and 34 of 88,334 (2014) so have a really vast talent pool to choose from.
badgerx16 Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Iceland then There's always that first time that England lose to a team. ...
SNSUN Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 England are the ****test piece of **** of all time. Jesus ****ing Christ, they are dire. Hart is shocking. And you know what, if Hodgson did somehow fluke his way into winning the Euros this year, he'd be knighted. I want England to get through, as I'm off work next week, but my God we won't deserve it if we do, at least so far. The FA need to get rid of Roy, once and for all. Payet and co will rip us a new arsehole if we get through. IF. If we get through. Not looking likely thus far.
BotleySaint Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 What gets me is when you hear pundits harp about about how good Roy is and the direction we are going Fewer now, granted. Alvin Martin the worst for it Yes it is strange. He is totally incapable of making the tough decisions. Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 27 June, 2016 Author Posted 27 June, 2016 That's two that Hart should have saved in this tournament ****ing useless **** Thing is, whilst he plays for man city and his England rivals only play for saints and Stoke He will be an automatic choice
LeBizzier69 Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 If we get through, ROI will be even more miffed that they didn't get through.
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Thing is, whilst he plays for man city and his England rivals only play for saints and Stoke He will be an automatic choice Word is that Pep wants to replace him.
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Am I the only one here who half wants Iceland to win?
CB Fry Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 I think this is it. This is the final score. We'll be out of ideas from about the 55th minute and it all peters out. Pardew for England.
whelk Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Don't worry lads. We have the highest paid manager in the tournament
Lighthouse Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Am I the only one here who half wants Iceland to win? Yes. Partly because they've played well, partly because I don't want to see us getting spanked by the French.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 this is woeful if we played a team from league two they would be doing better than this overpaid bunch of fling prima donnas
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Don't worry lads. We have the highest paid manager in the tournament And players as an average across the squad
Micky Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Am I the only one here who half wants Iceland to win? Could be a blessing in disguise, France will severely embarrass us if we manage to fluke our way through this. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk
Chalkboy Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Am I the only one here who half wants Iceland to win? No. I'm ashamed to admit.
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Rashford, Sturridge , Kane, Vardy - why? Iceland are now going to park up and I hate to say it, but Carroll would have been useful. Should have brought him rather than Rashford.
doddisalegend Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Hart is a good keeper, he just has England syndrome. Kane Vardy and Sturridge are excellent strikers. Alli is an excellent attacking central midfielder. England are rubbish. Rooney is not a midfielder. He's an ok striker who should be on the bench. But tough calls are never made. Le Tiss out the squad, Scholes on the bench or shoved out wide. We never learn. Who the fck takes over from Roy? The FA seemed to rule out foreign managers after they appointed 2 who didn't speak english and had never managed in the premier league Always thought the FA were grooming Southgate to take over from Roy..
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 I bet Drinkwater Townsend Wallcott and co are feeling great they never got selected now
TwoPints Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 STOP PRESS: Hart has stopped a shot! Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
LeBizzier69 Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Don't worry lads. We have the highest paid manager in the tournament Along with by far the highest paid team I suspect?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Kane woeful again so far He has been woeful all tournament but Woy likes Spurs
Lighthouse Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Always thought the FA were grooming Southgate to take over from Roy.. Please, no! Would be like watching paint dry and not very interesting paint, either. Beige paint.
Saint Billy Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 It should be remembered that Iceland have a total male population between the ages of 15 and 34 of 88,334 (2014) so have a really vast talent pool to choose from. To be fair, I was in Iceland a couple of months ago and all their kids play football and are trained to a high degree. In winter they have indoor pitches. Their kids are disciplined and are not like Brit kids who only care about video games and chlamydia.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Bet the Icelandic commentator is pretty relaxed in this match not much opposition for them really
angelman Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 To be fair, I was in Iceland a couple of months ago and all their kids play football and are trained to a high degree. In winter they have indoor pitches. Their kids are disciplined and are not like Brit kids who only care about video games and chlamydia. Hahahaha - the bit about chlamydia made me laugh. If we do lose then at least Woy will be sacked. The FA were pathetic and should have done it after the diabolical showing in Brazil. Why they think anything will be different is a mystery.
harvey Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Always thought the FA were grooming Southgate to take over from Roy.. Yep you'd think it, but you'd really hope not.........if the FA went down the foreign route again I think Pochettino is worth a shout.
CB Fry Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 I can see all the papers going for exactly the same pun headline tomorrow: EXIT

Err but we have some 30 m to choose from and they have 80 thousand
doddisalegend Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Yep you'd think it, but you'd really hope not.........if the FA went down the foreign route again I think Pochettino is worth a shout. Yeah I could see the England team with an Argentinian coach.....first up a tour of the south Atlantic
Shroppie Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Forster Clyne Stones Jagielka Bertrand Drinkwater Wilshere Walcott Chamberlain Townsend Vardy Just seeing if we could make an actual half decent balanced team from players not starting tonight Looks good to me Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
doddisalegend Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Great chants from Iceland. I love it when they do that steam train one
Jonnyboy Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Got to be honest, that isn't the sentence I was expecting to involve 'Southgate' and 'grooming'. Well does look a bit equine.
5string Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Ranieri for England? Think he'd be a good fit. Shame Jose has a job, most would enjoy getting behind him despite thinking he's a bellend. Pellegrini? If he'd go to Russia why not. Or just let Neville do it, he can't do a lot worse. Basically appoint whoever says they intend to build a team without Rooney. Why not ask Koeman? He said he's looking forward to working at Everton, so must be ready to move on for the right money!
S-Clarke Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 This is a tactical mess. Players don't seem to know where they're supposed to be, all the talk pre-game of playing with width and you have Sturridge and Sterling coming infield. No composure in the middle of the park, no understanding when to sit or go, or visa versa. Harry Kane needs movement around him, close to him, we're not playing to his strengths what so ever. This is an absolute tactical shambles. Well done Woy.
Toadhall Saint Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Crap doesn't even begin to describe that performance.
whelk Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 I can see all the papers going for exactly the same pun headline tomorrow: EXIT I'd go with 'England are fcking sh ite'
LeBizzier69 Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 (edited) Tyldesley just used the word "embarrassing" in relation to the scoreline from England's point of view. Surely embarrassing would be if England were a far superior side. But we're not. Edited 27 June, 2016 by LeBizzier69 Spelling

Saint Billy Posted 27 June, 2016 Posted 27 June, 2016 Err but we have some 30 m to choose from and they have 80 thousand How many of that 30m are interested or indeed capable physically of playing football?. Lets be honest, our kids in general are undisciplined couch potatoes with little interest in anything but their stomachs, willy's and their control pads.
