Saints for top four . . .

Structure of the club, on-going progression, good recruitment. He was enthusiastic about De Boer. I hope this is not the kiss of death. Alan Brazil took a more 'traditional' view though . . .

Matt Le Tissier interviewed on Alan Brazil. Summary:

Doesn't think the club is that far down the line for FDB to be favourite.

Set up is a million times better then when he was there - attention to detail fantastic.

Credits Paul Mitchell, Les, Ross.

Not a major panic losing manager.

VVD superb

Mane temperamental but would take a massive bid for him to go

Other clubs pay over the top for our players

Only a few clubs in Europe are not feeder clubs

This season is gonna be the toughest for years I feel

Most likely with saints in the Europa league a lot of sides strengthening and Everton nailed on PL winners next season is going to be tough. Also realistically we aren't going to improve our league position indefinitely season upon season... Fans probably need to manage their expectations a bit.

Brazil so obviously favours the skates over us so why is anyone surprised when he talks us down? It's like that tube

Merson, he's never had anything good to say about us.

Never forget - they are paid to have an opinion on everything. You do not need to believe what they say

Talk****e is so frustrating. A radio channel almost exclusively about football could not be a better idea, yet they still somehow manage to completely **** it up with their boring format, same guests, same questions, annoying self righteous presenters and not stop betting plugs. If they did it properly it would be fantastic.

Have to agree with this we are due a season of adjustment at some point, I wouldn't be happy with a top ten finish next season what with the added European games and the inevitable summer upheaval, a little step backwards but hopefully allowing us to consolidate and push on again.

I assume you mean 'wouldn't be unhappy with a top ten finish'?

I agree with you, just as long as we finish above Tottenham, Liverpool and of course Everton.

Talksh**e was summed up for me at the beginning of the week when on fat boy Brazil's show (the man with a quarter of a brain) they talked about the teams who could win the premier league. They mentioned all of the usual and even slipped in Everton and West Ham. The piece went on for about 10 minutes. I promise you that in that ten minutes they did not mention Leicester once. Not once. Wa**ers all of them.

This. Most definitely, this.
