In any other job it would be grounds for an employment practices claim - bullying and potentially intimidation

 

Not necessarily , if it was a one off then tempers can get a bit heated but it doesn't necessarily constitute bullying and intimidation. However if there was a pattern of this behaviour then it could be classed as Bullying . In a football sense then could not the fans be held accountable for this behaviour when our team are playing total ****e.

 

It would interesting to see what an ET would make of it

it has worked. people hate him other than for the obvious reason of leaving (which is fine for footy fans to be fickle like that)

now it is because he is a bully and is making one of the backroom staff move house

If someone is being a bit of a **** in my workplace, I'm going to do it. He's paid to do a job, very well paid. If he isn't doing something he's been asked, he had every right to tear into him.

As a builder I have slowly learnt that I shouldn't do that and that I should give encouragement even when I finally fk them off. Even on site you're not supposed to insult, shout at or hit people. A slow evolution but it even effects construction. ?

This is all working out exactly as we planned it.

That book could never exist. 1/20 and 1/100 for same event is a nonsense.

 

1/20 is 95% likelihood -if the book is over 100% bookies win. So even if had that and say 3 other candidates at say 10/1 (~10%) would be higher percentage than average book (~125%).

The ITK post explicitly states his source wouldn't reveal our top two manager targets but then gives out all the other info...ergo...this information 'leak' has to some extent been green lit by the club. This means the ITK is telling the truth as far as he is aware but we have no idea of how factually correct and non biased the sources information is.

 

I like the story though so I'm buying into it.:D

Your talking complete nonsense - this would be the best shout as it would likely keep Koeman out of the perm for a while. Everton will have to go for another manager and then Koeman would move to some one else. We need to keep teams like Everton well behind us if we want to progress - so stifling them with this and then them having to make do with their 4/5th choice.

 

Also he ****ing deserves it for doing a lallana - leave with class, a la schneiderlin.

 

Schneiderlin played with class but he certainly didn't leave with it.

Martin Samuel repeatedly shows that he is a reporter rather than a journalist. Maybe to some there is no difference, but to me a reporter repeats what he gets told, while a journalist will actually find their own details/story. That bit saying Saints is blasé is just utter rubbish. Unconcerned that RK is leaving (presuming he does) is not being blasé. You do not go from L1 to where we are by being complacent. That Samuel doesn't understand the ethos of SFC says more about him than us. He sees RK as some messiah (well, maybe that is OTT) but like I have said over the months as opposed to jumping on the bandwagon, the biggest shame is that no academy players have come through. Rather than saying we are blasé, why doesn't Samuel ask why the club was upset that MP left but not when RK is - surely that is a very pertinent point! A journalist would ask that question and go and find the answer. A reporter wouldn't.

Interesting read and I'm sure a lot of it has some truth, but struggle to believe how if Koeman is such a **** hated by so many at the club that he managed to coax such a great run of results from the players at the end of the season - W7 D1 L1 in last 9 games!

 

Not hated by all. And you certainly don't have to be popular to get results. Just look at Cortese's time with us.

Maybe Reed was told he had to. He doesn't have 100% control of the club yet. Or maybe all of the spin that comes from his camp is not 100% true.

Maybe because he achieved 7th and 6th places in difficult circumstances. He has done a great job here and even if they weren't happy with some of his methods why wouldn't you want to keep for for another couple of years? How odd would it have looked if they had just said goodbye under these circumstances. Perhaps you should be asking yourself instead of why offer him an extension, why not do more to keep him?

Except that isn't really what's happening. RK has done a good job and is a good manager, that's why we offered him a new deal. We also know though that for a while now there have been issues the board weren't completely happy with, it was posted on here in January. They aren't making stuff up and releasing it now, these rumours have been around for months and months
