monkadill Posted 7 June, 2016 Share Posted 7 June, 2016 If the board sacked Koeman on the last day of the season for not finishing in the top tier how would we feel? I believe we would be upbeat as it would indicate a sense of desire coming from the board and that we had plan's a foot to get a better manager and to strengthen the team. Yes we would sing Koemans praises for what he achieved but we would also have a tinge excitement by the demonstration of desire by the club. I suppose we could draw parallels to when Nigel got the boot.. As it was Koeman is leaving, he pulled the trigger so we are left feeling disappointed... Saint_Ash Posted 7 June, 2016 Share Posted 7 June, 2016 If he got us relegated he would deserve to be sacked, we came 6th though. No bearing really.
Saint Charlie Posted 7 June, 2016 Share Posted 7 June, 2016 Being honest we would have thought they were mad sacking Koeman after the season we had unless they had a proven better Manager lined up. No point talking about if we had finished lower because we didn't.
