Rumours of games against FC Twente and Az Alkmaar I've heard.

Is there any doubt Koeman will be here this summer? He has always said he would see out his contract. Whether he signs a new contract or not he has always said he would see at his current one.

If it's Koemans choice he will be here next year hence arrangements. But Les could ask him to leave because no contract extension is negotiated.

Yeah I get that but I can't see that happening. Seems to me both Koeman and the club are planning for next season with Ronald in charge after that who knows.

Might be worth an hour and a half drive but I'd feel like a bit of a stalker, probably better to go to a game.

I don't think we will tell Koeman to go because of Les telling him to go

 

It'll either be:

 

Sign a new contract

Don't sign, stay one year then leave

Go to Everton or any other club now

Yup.

Agree with all three options, the last one though will only be as a result of Les telling him to go now and not see his contract out. Ron's got his honour and pride at being a better class of manager, he wont leave us early.

Really find it incrrdible if anyone really believes this to be a possible scenario. Consider the compensation we would have to pay if nothing else. Ronald and Les agreed a 3 year contract and there is nothing to suggest yhat will not ne honoured by both sides. Whether rk extends next year is open to debate of course.

A lot of people agree, see Ron thread, but I admit that I hadn't considered the compensation we would have to pay to be honest. A mutual agreement would have to be made to terminate the contract early which is what we could be seeing, but the club should come out early and say that otherwise it makes them look like they have been done over by Everton's greater skill.

Not sure but that seems highly possible.

Doesn't make a difference to the preparation quality of course but slightly amusing we will be going to Holland without the people who probably pushed for us to go there.
