JohnnyFartPants Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 What does this actually mean? If it really is to be equal then it should work both ways. For every person you hear telling us that there are not enough women at the top of their professions (despite many having chosen to have 10 years or more off to raise families) you should also hear people saying that we currently do not have enough women emptying dustbins, unblocking drains and all the other crappy jobs that never seem to entice them in. Equal should mean equal and not just about hand picking the jobs which they want a slice of.
Jillyanne Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 I do not believe in equal rights for women, FACT.

bridge too far Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 I think Jill's right. We should, in fact, have EXTRA SPECIAL rights for women.
Jillyanne Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 Explain please. I think the man should go out and earn the money and I should be able to stay at home and clean and stuff, hence why I only now work part time and I love it!

scott_saints Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 I have come to the conclusion in recent weeks that beer is better than women. I am now refusing to have sex and when it is offered I will be going to the pub instead.
swannymere Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 I want to be a house husband, but i need to find a high-earning, hard working supermodel with self-esteem issues prepared to shop in the bargain basement for a partner who is below average in the looks and intelligence departments and who can't be arsed with DIY or looking after the kids.
Thedelldays Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 women have lower/lesser fitness requirements in the armed forces..then moan when some jobs are closed to them....

I would hope that a man would treat me with courtesy, e.g. holding a door open for me etc. in the same way as I would treat an elderly person with similar courtesy. I don't think that that is sexist / ageist. Just politeness.

I don't think that that is sexist / ageist. Just politeness. This is a point I must respond to. A woman expecting a man to hold a door open is wrong. Expecting a person is fine but why expect it more from a man? What is worse is that you compare it to an elderly person that could well have problems doing things for themselves. I agree on what is polite and impolite and would equally expect a woman to hold a door for me should she reach the handle a fraction of time before me.

JohnnyFartPants Posted 7 January, 2009 Author Posted 7 January, 2009 i slam doors in b1tches faces and the still wanna toke my loverod Well done. Do you think b1tches is the correct modern term when describing split asses in this era? I think it puts the slags down a bit and is uncalled for.

Colinjb Posted 7 January, 2009 Posted 7 January, 2009 Question. If women act like women it is a normal thing that should be respected. When men act like men its considered by some women to be rude and vulgar, and shouldn't be allowed. How is this gender equality?

Saint in Paradise Posted 8 January, 2009 Posted 8 January, 2009 Women have far too many things in their favour now, equal rights would mean that they get less. I cannot see them agreeing to that.
