Shroppie Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Long's Mrs has just favourited a tweet saying Pochettino is watching Long. Hopefully just reading too much into it! Take a look at @PhillySteak92's Tweet: But it's a long way (pun intended) from watching to persuading us to sell. How long (again) has he got on his contract? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
beatlesaint Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Nivea Boy off at half time. Was he that bad again ?
Jonnyboy Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Why do you hate to say it? He's clearly a very good player the problem is he's never fit for long and is a bit of prat. He's been very good tonight as have Stones and Bertrand. Apart from the goal I think Rashford has been poor. England bang average again. Dier alongside Wilshire with Lalllana and Dia behind Kane and Vardy is a decent front 6 I think. Ali Dia??
Saint Without a Halo Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Nivea boy, Wilshire off Hendersen and sterling have been crap too and Drinkwater is being played out of position
mrfahaji Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Drinkwater is Toilet water Based on what? I thought he had a decent first half, hardly ever gives the ball away. Unlike Wilshere who has two great touches and then loses it.
mrfahaji Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Nivea Boy off at half time. Was he that bad again ? I'd be quite happy to say he was rubbish but I thought he did ok.
Jonnyboy Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 That's Pochettino and he's sat with Pat Dolan, the agent Shane uses. Why's Paddy McGuinness next to Poch?
Shroppie Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Cracking goal from Rooney He's been creaking for some time Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Plastic Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 That Rashford is pretty useful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint-Armstrong Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Why's Paddy McGuinness next to Poch? Ha, that's Paul Mitchell for the record.
SO16_Saint Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 What was he thinking? He wasn't. He could have stopped it. Had a cup of tea, then cleared it
John Boy Saint Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 These f***wits on Sh ITV (sorry that is worthy of stealing) mithering on about Roy having 3 centre backs, Dier on as the emergency centre back totally ingniring the fact that our Ryan can also play at Centre Back....... Bloody great own goal. .......... Classic "Dier does have experience as a centre back, he played at centre back at Wembley last season" Please can someone post up some shonky links so for when ITV are showing Ingerland games!!
Plastic Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Barkley is so bloody Hollywood. Wouldn't mind if any of his attempts came off. Hope he's left behind.
Shroppie Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Ryan has been excellent tonight!. Who's going to tap him up then? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
whelk Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 What is point of substituting Forster with 4 mins to go?
Pamplemousse Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Apparently Pochettino (and Mitchell) are there to watch a Dutch striker, according to some Spurs fans.
Saint_clark Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Bertrand should have been motm, Rashford did nothing other than the goal.
Saint Billy Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Bertrand should have been motm, Rashford did nothing other than the goal. Naive choice by Hoddle!.
trousers Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Long's Mrs has just favourited a tweet saying Pochettino is watching Long. Hopefully just reading too much into it! Take a look at @PhillySteak92's Tweet: Its OK... I've smoothed things over.... She liked my reply too....
Jimmy_D Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Bertrand certainly didn't harm his chances of starting with that performance.
Katalinic Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/674611/Spurs-Transfer-News-Mauricio-Pochettino-Southampton-Shane-Long-agent Being a "journalist" is easy. Just make **** up.
Toomer Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 (edited) Bertrand is a better option as cover at centre back and by the way Hoddle you are a bigger ***** than that ***** Townsend. Edited 28 May, 2016 by Toomer
John Boy Saint Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Bertrand is a better option as cover at centre back and by the way Hoddle you are a bigger ***** than that ***** Townshend. any chance of a clue on the *****? Thanks in advance
SaintSteve Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Bertrand should have been motm, Rashford did nothing other than the goal. Why..cos he plays for us..played well but don't let bias dictate reality. Actually, There is not much difference between Rose and Bertrand, possibly Bertrand reads the game slightly better; nearest we have to Ashley Cole IMO..lets hope Hodgson feels the same way.
Lighthouse Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Decent game for RB but it'd be biased to say he was anything astonishing. Bit of a goof from Fraser before the first goal but did alright. Doubt Hart will be out the team any time soon, so it doesn't matter too much. He's England's new Tim Flowers basically.
Saint Charlie Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Jesus Perez, Pochettino, Shane Long's Agent and Paul Mitchell. Apparently Spurs watching Janssen and Saints were interested in Long a year before we got him so Mitchell will know his Agent well. Wonder who Ross Wilson was schmoozing tonight?
Saint_clark Posted 27 May, 2016 Posted 27 May, 2016 Why..cos he plays for us..played well but don't let bias dictate reality. Actually, There is not much difference between Rose and Bertrand, possibly Bertrand reads the game slightly better; nearest we have to Ashley Cole IMO..lets hope Hodgson feels the same way. No, because overall he was the best of a mediocre bunch of performances.
david in sweden Posted 29 May, 2016 Posted 29 May, 2016 I console myself with reassurance that I operate at a higher level OK then......but do you need more oxygen ?
Batman Posted 29 May, 2016 Author Posted 29 May, 2016 Be interesting to see how our defensive unit deal with Bale in a couple of weeks what a player he is. Best real madrid player IMO in the final last night
Pilchards Posted 29 May, 2016 Posted 29 May, 2016 Be interesting to see how our defensive unit deal with Bale in a couple of weeks what a player he is. Best real madrid player IMO in the final last night I think the biggest problem will be his free kicks around our area. He can whip in a funny swervy one which Hart will flap.
Mr Biscuits Posted 30 May, 2016 Posted 30 May, 2016 England went soft after World Cup win - Eddie Jones http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/36407712 Why does an England manager never speak about the football team like this? I can't help but think that if the manager spoke like this more we'd see a different attitude from the players
