Where you get re-directed isn't really relevant as it's based on your history, as deduced by Google. It is the fact that you get re-directed which is important. I assume these kind of ads generate more income than the ones that just sit on the page.

 

To be fair, Baj has stated that he hasn't intended that these kind of ads to be used, but it is clear that they are being used. I'm also getting the dialogue boxes which insist you click 'Ok', so I shut down the browser, rather than invite a virus in.

 

It is really annoying me that this website is behaving cheaper and sleazier than before. It's just not classy.

As with others, loads of redirects and dodgy pop-ups telling you to click various things. Not good!

Thanks for all the reports, we are investigating and will disable the ad networks that are causing the issues when we work out which ones are the offenders

As with others I only get redirects on my iPad, no issues on Android phone or laptop (all Chrome bar the iPad) Occasionally on the laptop (Mac) something starts eating up resources (fan starts whirring, CPU goes through the roof, page becomes unresponsive. Only happens here

Took me 10 minutes to navigate to this page today - porn and money making re-directs - and I don't even watch porn! Nor do I make any money. This on Windows laptop. Sort it out Steve - it's not funny.

I have just been redirected to a porn site... at work! Not good.

 

That now makes this site NSFW, now I will have to do some work.

On my Android phone, this site is now unusable over Wi-Fi. OK over 4g though.

Random amount of redirects for me. Seems fine on a laptop via chrome but on IPad and safari it's a nightmare.

Yep - the re-directs are gone, thanks Baj. I haven't reinstalled Shockwave yet, and that caused a real problem with this site in terms of swallowing all the CPU.

Ok, I think we 100% know which network it was.

They have promised to clean up their act, and I said I would test again in a couple of weeks. As such, it would be good if we could synchronise me putting them live again with you testing so we know if it's still an issue. I'll post in this thread a couple of days before hand.

Still getting the odd redirect to spam sites on ios. I've given up on SWF via chrome as it just crashes the browser.

 

Microsoft explorer or whatever it's now called seems to be alright.

Yeah, sorry about that, my fault.

 

Upgraded a component on the server (which I needed to be able to test the new forum), but it had a knock-on effect on the connection to the database. All fixed now

I can't seem to get on with my phone or tablet . One is iOS & one Android , using safari & Firefox respectively . Keep getting redirected to something called "ww 1.3d-wares.com". Anyone got any ideas what it is or how to lose it. I'm having to use tapatalk and I don't like it at all.

Same problem. It's happening with an iPhone and also Android if I try to open the mobile site. I've switched it the full site option which works OK but isn't great on a mobile
