Agree , I want there in '79 . Parts of Israel are lovely

We paid a day visit from Haifa on a cruise and did a tour around the Sea of Galilee. It was not what you might expect at all, more like the south of France or Italy than a dusty Middle-Eastern country.

You're looking for Hapoel Tel Aviv. We're playing Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Indeed it is. I seem to have paid more attention in my geography lessons....our opponents are based in Beersheba, which is some distance south of Jerusalem.

Hapoel is a generic term i.e. its the Hebrew for association.

We're playing Hapoel Be'er Sheva, not Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Yes, thanks. I've just done some more research.

Does anybody fancy driving there? I once met two old ladies in Palmyra who had driven all the way from Italy in a Fiat 500.

And Jerusalem's not to be confused with Tel Aviv

Capacity for Sparta Prague is not that good. May be 1000 away allocation ?? Milan first would be the ideal for most due to allocation, travel, accommodation.....

Flights currently around £80 return (I just picked a random thursday morning returning friday)

How many tickets would we get for Inter?

I'd guess it would be relatively easy to get tickets elsewhere in the ground, wouldn't it? Hardly a big game for Inter is it.

Did anyone risk going away to FC Midtjylland last season without a ticket?

Tempted to go to all 3 of these with or without a ticket and hope to get one on the day (Home or away end)

Standby for flights to Milan to rocket! Anyone know which Milan airport between Malpensa and Linate is best for the San Siro???

Linate but Bergamo is not bad either and is a nice place to visit. Malpensa is a a bit like Gatwick or Heathrow (about 45 mins to an hour away from the city center, though there is a 30min fast train), Linate is the city airport.

Agree, that's what I'm thinking of. Milan should be fine, but unsure on Sparta...

There were a few without tickets. I know a couple that got one out there.

the main airport is at Tel Aviv, so it'll be a dusty bus ride down to Beersheba ....for an hour or so ....

However, Israel seems surprisingly small .....if you don't look at the map too closely.

Everyone that wants a ticket for Milan will get one.

Really? Can't see it getting past ST holders with a certain number of aways, but very much hope I'm wrong. But anyone who doesn't mind sitting in the home end will definitely get a ticket.

Flights to Tel Aviv are ranging from 120-200ish...some direct flights as well for around £160. The bus from Tel Aviv to Beer Sheva is a fiver. Accommodation is free if you swear at a copper after the game.

No matter how big the country is it always seems to fit on the page.

There were quite a few of us in the home section next to the Saints. I got some tickets in advance from a nice friendly Danish Saints fan.

San Siro is 80k. The minimum is 4k (5%) for Europa League away allocation. I can't really imagine 74000 Inter fans turning up for us, so we should be able to get a bigger allocation from them.

Yes! Didn't even consider they might give us more tickets. Sing a happy happy happy happy happy song.

Last time they were in the EL, Inter's biggest group game was against St. Etienne, attendance at the San Siro was 33,000. So just the 47,000 empty seats

Email beforehand. During the discussions on here our friend in denmark got involved. I had tried logging into the Midtjylland website and got as far as selecting my seats but they wanted a Danish credit card for payment and at that point I was thinking about contacting my old Danish contacts.

Does anybody on here know any Saints fans that live in Italy, Czech Republic, Israel even?

Reckon we could sell 8000 for that.

Sort of poetic that we get the blue half of Milan after the blue few played the red half.

If we beat Inter at St Mary's and/or San Siro, will Pompey fans shut up about the 3-3 draw with AC Milan using players they never fully paid for? Probably not.
