VectisSaint Posted 31 May, 2016 Posted 31 May, 2016 Not really. On their main forum they think they are getting (and want) Emery. D i c k?
Saint IQ Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 now martinez has gone and we get a proper manager in, you wont though will you? your like the 'ammers thinking your bigtime now because you have finished above us for 2 seasons. you've had your best seasons and still achieved......nothing. there was a premier league you know pre-2012? EFC are a bigger club than Southampton, FACT. not that it means much, 'bigger than southampton' mind... (small time!!) What have you achieved since 1995? Nothing. Just the fact you have to register on a Southampton forum shows that we aren't so small time any more and you're jealous of the position we're in, chin up you might make top half next season
Saint IQ Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Of course. Its just you did exactly what he wanted you to. There's no way you can know that for sure.
S-Clarke Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 There's no way you can know that for sure. He does really, he's an expert at WUM'ing, so he knows all the tricks.
Saint Charlie Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 He does really, he's an expert at WUM'ing, so he knows all the tricks. LOL. Its pretty clear the kid wanted attention whether you are a WUM or not.
Toadhall Saint Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 When's the man due back from his well deserved holiday? Anyone know?
Saint-Armstrong Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 When's the man due back from his well deserved holiday? Anyone know? Flew back yesterday evening.
doddisalegend Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Flew back yesterday evening. I love the way we stalk our manager and players any one know what Ronald is having for dinner tonight? ?
Saint-Armstrong Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 I love the way we stalk our manager and players any one know what Ronald is having for dinner tonight? Chips with mayonnaise.
brett24 Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 6/1 on Coral. They suspended betting on Koeman a few weeks ago. If he goes odds on then it's time to worry.
Gemmel Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 6/1 on Coral. They suspended betting on Koeman a few weeks ago. If he goes odds on then it's time to worry. It just means someone has lumped a load of money on it
Batman Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 dont know why he is favourite for them Les is comfortable with the talks about the future and all that
St Chalet Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Probably the story that ran in the Liverpool Echo today. Bookies odds are generally driven by activity, not necessarily info.* *this activity may be driven my actual punter info
angelman Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 7/4 Everton's next manager 13/2 Arsenal's next manager
Shroppie Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 (edited) Probably the story that ran in the Liverpool Echo today. Bookies odds are generally driven by activity, not necessarily info.* *this activity may be driven my actual punter info That article suggested that Koeman was out of reach. Although it did then suggest that they could still get him with a shedload of cash. It also said De Boer is the only one interested but that doesn't stop the deluded Everton fans from thinking they're so big and desirable that can choose who they like. Plenty of punters will bet on what they're hoping for rather than likelihood. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk Edited 1 June, 2016 by Shroppie

angelman Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Funny how things move. Sky Bet saying Emery 2/1 Fav then RK at 5/2
Wade Garrett Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Bookies might be offering a shorter price to get a few mug punters who think something must be going on to lump some money on. Skybet use their sports news channel to do much the same thing.
Jimmy_D Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 Next manager markets are tiny and vulnerable to insider info, one person putting a reasonably sized bet on can be enough to move them significantly.
ooh it's a corner Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 There's only three choices; 1) He doesn't sign and leaves this summer 2) He doesn't sign and leaves next summer 3) He does sign and leaves at some point in the future. The only absolute certainty is that Ronald Koeman, at some point, leaves Southampton. He's been brilliant for us and I hope he stays forever, but that can't happen folks. So, next to that, I hope Ronald's successor is more successful than he has been. Whenever that comes.......
Saint IQ Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 He's signing this week or next....that's a complete guess..or is it?
Fabrice29 Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 This is going on too long. It's not though is it? If you had a contract with still a year to run on it and your company offered you a new one you wouldn't be in a huge rush to sign it would you? Certainly wouldn't cancel or end early any holiday plans you had and you'd probably wait until your first day back before getting down to it. The guys on a break ffs.

Yes there's no way to contact board not a phone or anything.
Saint Charlie Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 (edited) Mirror saying Everton expect "positive developments" now Koeman is back from holiday. Hopefully not and hopefully he signs for us but if they will literally double his pay overnight that would be hard (stupid even?) to resist. Everton forum now thinks Koeman would be underwhelming and want Unai Emery. Edited 1 June, 2016 by Saint Charlie

Bewildered Posted 1 June, 2016 Posted 1 June, 2016 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/everton-ready-step-up-ronald-8097502 The article itself is yet another story saying Moshiri thinks he can turn RK's head with lots of money and a big transfer budget. It also says contract talks with us have hit a block, but does not elaborate on that.
Nolan Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Everton obviously think they can get Koeman from us in exactly the same way that they got Martinez from Wigan three years ago. By bandying around money in the papers. Quite ludicrous really. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 I have the feeling Saints are spinning out rubbish in the Telegraph and there own media outlet to counter other stories in the media which does make me wonder if talks with koeman have stalled. I hope not obviously. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Fabrice29 Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Yes there's no way to contact board not a phone or anything. What does that achieve? Until something is signed it wont be announced. I tell you what a phone call would achieve... a fan pleasing video from the DOF saying how everything is going fine.

Saints1976 Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Everton are in for Emery now, they've moved on, the Mirror is unreliable and making stuff up.
JxgrSaint Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Since when was Portugal in the Caribbean? Barbados was discovered and named by the Portuguese tbf
Shroppie Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Barbados was discovered and named by the Portuguese tbf And if you stretch your imagination, Portugal is sort of extreme eastern Caribbean. ? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
L_O_Z Posted 2 June, 2016 Posted 2 June, 2016 Caribbean? I thought he was in Portugal? How's the Mirror supposed to convince us of where he's going if they don't even know where he's been...
