whelk Posted 2 June, 2016 Share Posted 2 June, 2016 Well history says something else. Lots of their odds on managers haven't got the jobs. We'll see. Why have Skybet at all? it generates them easy money from mug punters. Not saying they are not generated by genuine bets. More likely scousers trying to make a quick quid and they may well be successful. Immaterial as a profit maker for Sky. Also gives them a presence and believe it or not they love the PR of someone having a big win. Gone are days of some bookie trying to rip you off at every turn - brand and PR is everything. They still make huge amounts from betting and online casinos but key is on events, not knowledge where they have no control. They got burnt when Sven appointed as England manager - You probably couldn't get £1k now accepted on any of their specials susceptible to inside knowledge. Their online tables are making that in seconds.

whelk Posted 2 June, 2016 Share Posted 2 June, 2016 Agreed. A few million fivers on dead duck bets add up. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk Million? It won't even be one hundred on RK. And why would someone want to put a fiver at 4/9? If they wanted to entice they would produce the story and leave the odds high.

Saint Charlie Posted 2 June, 2016 Share Posted 2 June, 2016 Everton ITK (all the fans on the forum hang off every word he says) said that its true about the Koeman meeting but that both he (Koeman) and Emery have offers and neither has yet committed. Source: The Esk on GOT forum and @theesk If Koeman is keen on staying here then its a bit Rich to also meet with Everton, unless he has been allowed to.
