Red Posted 13 June, 2016 Share Posted 13 June, 2016 ARNAUTOVIC LATEST Stoke have slapped a £12.5million transfer fee on contract rebel Marko Arnautovic, according to the Daily Mirror. The 27-year-old has turned down Stoke’s recent contract offer and his current deal expires next summer. Reports suggest Arnautovic wants to remain in England and is angling for a move to a top six club. We are top 6 :-) Always liked MA, and would fit in - just saying! SNSUN Posted 13 June, 2016 Share Posted 13 June, 2016 Aymeric Laporte has signed a new contract with Bilbao. **All the big clubs now look at John Stones** Gone from having a £39 million release clause to a £55 million release clause. City will probably still activate that at some point, just means Bilbao provably hold on to him for another year and will be richer when he goes. I can't see Saints ever talking in monetary terms like that!

SuperSAINT Posted 15 June, 2016 Share Posted 15 June, 2016 CHELSEA'S £32M GOMES BID REJECTED Chelsea have had a bid of £32m rejected by Valencia for Portugal international Andre Gomes, according to Sky sources. It is understood Valencia are keen to drive up the fee for Gomes due to a sell-on clause in place between themselves and his former club, Benfica, a stance which has left Valencia and Chelsea approximately £10m apart in their valuation of the player. SSN HQ has been told Benfica are due to receive 25% of any transfer fee Valencia receive for the player who only arrived at the Mestalla stadium 12 months ago. Valencia are believed to want to generate £32 million from his sale for themselves, and are therefore holding out for approximately £42m.

SuperSAINT Posted 15 June, 2016 Share Posted 15 June, 2016 Get the feeling when he was agitating for a move from West Brom he thought he was going to a big club.... is stoke much of a step up from West Brom? Not really. But they play better football and seem to have got their scouting into gear lately. Whilst Stoke play better football & have better players, Berahino probably would have ambitions of a joining an ever bigger club, but you know what? Rather than sitting on Spurs' bench, he'll get plenty of game time at Stoke (and he gets his pay rise too so it'll probably work out for him). He pretty much wasted last season though. Should have knuckled down instead of throwing his toys out of the pram.
