Would be nice to see another club pillaged rather than just us!!

Gotta feel for them though, they've broken the pecking order and rose to the top, yet still seemingly lose their best talent. There's nothing the likes of us or Leicester can ever really do to change that, it's the order of the way in the PL and will always be.

I do feel for them, but share the "love".

If Vardy goes that pretty much kills the idea a club like us can get CL and keep our best players...

The PL are happy that 6 or so clubs can tie the league up year in year out. That LCFC won it last season is a blessing as it gives an image that anyone can win it (which of course they can). But for the money men, it is easier to sell Chelsea vs Man Utd, than LCFC vs Saints to a Far Eastern/American audience. The PL are obviously happy with the cabal at the top. Supporters of clubs outside that cabal must surely question the point of it. But now with LCFC winning it, they might be distracted from the true picture of things.

Also reveals a heck of a lot of the "ambition" Leicester were apparently showing when they tied down Vardy to that long contract about five minutes ago.

Man U are about to sign Eric Bailly (who?) for €40m per Guillem Balague

If a complete unknown is worth €40m imagine what Koeman will be able to do with £100m at Everton....

who the hell is that?

one for the football hispters

Also shows how Wanyama will be a bargain for whoever gets him for about £12m and that any £40m or so valuation of Mane is absolutely fair.

So Vardy is worth 22 million and Everton want 65million for Lukaku....

Lukaku is six years younger, he probably has three times the shelf life at this level. Plus, if Vardy has a £20m release clause, it doesn't matter if he is 'worth' £80m. I doubt Leicester saw this being an issue when they signed him from Fleetwood.

More to the point if Everton think Rom is worth £65m what exactly do they think they're going to get for £100m? Nowhere near enough to build a title contending squad (yes, yes Leicester I know).

Zlatan to United to be announced soon - €17m salary for a one year deal at 35 is pretty bloody good for a penultimate pay day - then go to China til you're 40

I heard Zlatan has cancelled the Man U gig upon hearing about the new power house of PL football.... Everton the chance to reunite with Koeman and smash a glass ceiling is just to good to turn down....

God, West Ham are a disgusting club.

They'll be all billy big b0ll0cks this summer I guarantee; they'll bid for everyone who is a name and they'll get turned down time and again.

Then when time is running out they'll panic and end up signing Daryl Janmaat for 21m to announce their arrival as a footballing powerhouse

I imagine westham will have to make do with the scraps the champions elect......... or Everton, as they like to be called, leave for the rest of the PL after their massive ground breaking player budget has kicked in ...sleeping giant etc etc..

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/06/06/report-koeman-wants-another-reunion-with-southamptons-jordy-clas/

Everton in for Clasie apparently. I wonder how much we will sting them for that. Why do I get the feeling Jordy leaving wouldn't spark off much of a meltdown especially if Everton pay more than we did a year ago...

Even so, he's only one year into a five year contract. And he cost us £8 million as a player unproven in the PL. Worth at least £12 million now for any club other than Everton. For them.... £18 million will do and and not a penny less.

Yes, agreed. And if their new manager really can't live without him then they are going through have to back his judgment with their money. That £100m is not going to last very long.
