Inside the ground well before kick off a couple from Adelaide, Australia came up to me to ask a question about Saints, they said they were from Australia and were over for their first Saints match. I had a lovely chat with them for good half hour, telling them all the history and even managed to get Kenzie Benali to interview them pre match. They loved it, Kenzie was brill.

They even sat near to me during the match, they loved it, taking lots of video and photos. I remember his name was Phil.

Really made my day that they had a fantastic day.

Good on them. I suppose they realised they were going to miss the final of the Australian A League played on the same day where their home town Club, Adelaide United won their first title beating Western Sydney Wanderers in front of 55k crowd at the beautiful Adelaide Oval.

That was my first thought too - they probably couldn't have picked a worse week to do it as being at Adelaide oval on Sunday was fantastic and something I never thought I would see in Adelaide (especially this season being winless after 8 matches) amd then to get home and watch Southampton smash man city certainly made it a great day
