Roger Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 Wasn't in same class as Matty. Le tissier was another class of player. Deserves far more adulation imo.

Whitey Grandad Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 Both great players for us but in different ways. I have very happy memories of both.

Pamplemousse Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 First time Rickie's been back at SMS for so long. MLT always makes an appearance every now and again. As CB Fry said, very bizarre post.
Saint Charlie Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 Wasn't happy Rickie getting a better reception yesterday. But that was because he has barely been back since he left so Saints fans havent had a good opportunity to say thanks. Le Tiss is at numerous games, always gets a great reception and his song is often sung despite retiring ages ago. Its not a competition anyway. Patrick Bateman Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 Wasn't in same class as Matty. Le tissier was another class of player. Deserves far more adulation imo. Okay.
The9 Posted 2 May, 2016 Share Posted 2 May, 2016 Wasn't in same class as Matty. Le tissier was another class of player. Deserves far more adulation imo. Are you getting twitchy because the Northam sang more of RLSGM than "Le Tiss" on Sunday when they were on the pitch? Funny as hell that you can't understand why that might be, and also weird that you think it needs stating. They're not remotely comparable based on Premier League goals alone, and Le Tissier wasn't even a striker most of the time. EDIT: Just read the rest of the thread, good to know the obvious answer is usually the accurate one (see also MLG's pretend troll backtracking).
