As physical as Spurs were, Chelsea are everything that's bad in the game...usual antics surrounding the referee..who was excellent. I wanted a Spurs victory as I always support ex Saints players/managers.. Who knows what Spurs team turns up next week now.. Although I suspect they will be determined to be 2nd.

Someone posted on facebook that the game was like a 'Dirty Leeds' side of yesteryear playing a 'Dirty Leeds' side of yesteryear.

proper throw-back that one. Really enjoyed it

One thing's for sure, even more than usual, there will be no easy games next season.

Every single team will be going into every single game with the belief they can win.

Did he play enough games to qualify for a medal? Think you have to play at least 10 league games.

He scored one of their turning point goals getting knocked out in the process. Hasn't featured a lot though.

clubs can get extra medals made on request. Were talking about this on 5live earlier.

I'm going to put a bet on Burnley to win it next year.

Saw earlier they are as low as 6/1 to finish in the top 10. Bookies learning lessons.

Leicester 40/1 to win it again and 16/1 to go down next season.

This will probably be the best 2 years ever for bookies. Doubt they will have too many payouts on Leicester winning the league, other than the odd "I stick a tenner on every season," Foxes fan. Will be nothing compared to the amount of money heaped on City, Chelsea, Utd Et. al. every season.

Then next season everyone will be chucking money on their own club, saying, "there's no reason we can't 'do a Leicester'", only for it to end up being a dull 2 horse race between City and Chelsea again.

Indeed, although the payout for Leicester will be higher this season than you realise - I got 18/1 in december and they were top then.

Tenners and fivers at 5000/1 soon mount up.

Not going to be a market for serious gambler waiting 9 months and bit of a lottery ie no inside knowledge or trends to spot

Being reported that this is the biggest ever payout for bookies.

Normally anything other than the favourite is a win for the bookies, but in this case it seems the odds were long enough that even with the lower volume of betting, it was enough for them to still be down.

The Spurs forum is as hilarious as you'd expect.

What a bunch of entitled asshats they are. Complaining because Chelsea didn't roll over for them. The entire league is a conspiracy for Leicester. etc

It's cringeworthy.

Yet, amusing.

The PL outright book will be a big loser for all bookies, but most of the losses will have been covered by the record profits they will have been making on PL matches over the season. Some small independents could be in big trouble though

from the BBC

It was an emotional London derby at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, with Tottenham shown nine yellow cards, the most by a single team in a match in Premier League history.

Classy spurs classy...

As Walker kicked Pedro in the shin as he lay on the ground in the first few minutes you wonder if spurs were told to provoke chelsea at every opportunity ! If Saints had produced even half of those tackles / off the ball incidents in a match we would have been down to 8 men before half time !

Another yellow for Dier should have made it ten.

Five cards invokes a nasty letter from the FA. I don't know what they'd get for nine.

MotD put together a montage of the bad fouls last night and despite Chelsea's habit of making a meal of any physical contact, it was pretty damming.
