May Bank Holiday Weekend - Other Games

How the f**k did Spurs finish that game with 11 on the pitch. Clattenburg really struggled to control that game.

Fair play Leicester, great achievement, well deserved.

he was waaaaay too soft. You just know that the magnitude of the game dictated that. He did not want to be the talk/blame/centre of it all

Punch up in the tunnel according to the bbc... Classy spurs. They might have half their first team banned come next weekend

LEICESTER CITY ARE PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Not so much class here now though - it's all kicking off in the mouth of the tunnel. It's a melee!

Goodness me the FA are going to be kept very busy in the next few days.

If you see what gets bookings in other games that he let off tonight. How Dier never got a 2nd yellow, I'll never know.

Would be handy if they're without Dembele and Lamela on Sunday.

Amazing for Leicester. Congratulations to them.

Spurs were just nasty. 9 yellows and a potential 2nd ban in 2 games coming up (Dembele).

I dunno, Alli punches, Dembele gouges - these are serious offences. Even in a physical game like rugby they'd get proper serious citations and lengthy bans. Dirty Spurs.

No idea why the Dier tackle was ignored, should have gone straight back to that after the Mason yellow.

But Spurs looked shot at the end, absolutely gone. Their heads were all over the place.

Absolutely remarkable that Leicester have won the league, I never thought we'd ever get a situation like this in football with all the money in it.

Yeah that couldn't have gone any better for us unless Kane was sent off.

Their fans will be flat on Sunday too you would think.

Clattenburg I thought did as well as could be expected until that last 10mins when he lost control. Dier 100% should have gone and even his first yellow could have been a red.

it was like a proper old-school local derby, that.

Dier had to be sent off. mental

Yeah, i'm stunned there weren't any red's tbh. It was on boiling point for 90mins. I thought the ref had a good game until he conveniently ignored the Dier hack.

Lamella and Dembele should get bans. Rose seemed to go off with a hammy. And Toby looked pretty bad.

I don't think Lamella will be banned tbh, Dembele will be the only one who is given a ban for the season.

I reckon Rose went off to protect him from getting a 2nd yellow......I don't think he was injured.

9 yellows. Should have been at least 2 reds on top of that. Brawls during and after the match. Filthy bastards. I hope they get a bunch of post-match bans, maybe even points deduction.

Well done Leicester.

MP shown for what he is - enjoyed that. Well done Leicester. Dier should have been sent off but Toby's season looks over and Dembele and Lamela surely getting banned for disgraceful incidents. Great chance for Saints to win at WHL with the form we are in.

Most of the team had to be taken off to avoid a second yellow!

Quote from Tony Cottee:

Former Leicester man Tony Cottee spoke to Sky Sports News HQ about the Foxes' incredible title win.

"They have played really well as a team and they have had a little bit of luck. What you would call the top teams... have been off-form, and Leicester haven’t had too many injuries or suspensions.

"But let’s take absolutely nothing away from them, they have been the best team, and that is the biggest compliment I can pay them. Not the best individuals, but the best team."

Er, you just did, mate! :mcinnes:

May have been filthy but it's a man's game and it has been too sanitised of late. Enjoyed that and thought the ref did well. The linesman should have got Dembele a red for the eye gouge.

Chelsea - away at Sunderland, away at Liverpool, home to Leicester.

You could see Rose say 'hamstring'.

Just what we needed, loads of injuries both physical and mental. Spurs had lost it big time.

When Dier committed that foul, Clattenberg reached into his pocket for the second yellow, but then ran upfield to the developing spotfire and didn't get back to Dier. Can the red be given retrospectively?

The only starting Spuds player not to be either booked or subbed was Loris, the 'keeper (and captain?).

Surely an FA charge for not controlling their players, on top of any individual bans (e.g. Dembele).

I think the 2nd yellow was on his mind and MP's too - but yeah, they looked gone in the head. They've always been quite a fragile team mentally, historically. They will be low as hell next weekend, no doubts about it.

I think that they will have a point to prove.
