May Bank Holiday Weekend - Other Games

Their additional game is against Chelsea so it's not a guaranteed 3 points by any means.

Of course not, but we have Spurs away to play still too not to mention City today.

To get 7th we will need to win all our last 3 games IMO.

Liverpool could still get something from this game if subs have an impact.

I agree, I still think Liverpool will just about finish above us. But it gives us something to look forward to in these final matches, which makes a change from our usual end of season petering out.

Danny Simpson keeps leaving that left flank wide open and Rojo has put in dangerous crosses the entire game.

That Mahrez shout for a pen was a stonewaller for me.

He was completely obstructed.

Not just obstruction, took his legs out. How could that not be given?

Of course. It's Man U at Old Trafford.

Cork having a great game so far, even aside from the goal. Not sure of any area Clasie is better than Cork in to be honest.

He isn't a world class player of course, but is so solid and reliable and has the stamina to be effective for 90mins.

All of which is immaterial, as you well know.

He's not very old Giggs was one of the fittest players around however old he was. Same with Beckham. Rooney has always been heavy for a footballer, often seen stuffing chips or with a fag in his mouth. You can get away with it for a while but it won't be a long career. Plus, it's a shame given his talent, if he'd taken his physical fitness as seriously as Ronaldo he'd have been a brilliant player for ages.

Doesn't it leave them in exactly the same position as they would have been had they lost?

Ramps up the pressure on Spurs.

Shows how they aren't going to choke.

Would be a very different story going into tomorrow if they'd lost.

Spurs can't drop one point, they have to drop minimum two.

But thinking about it Leicester need one less point even if Spurs win all 3 so Batman is right

I think Spurs will lose tomorrow night anyway.

Chelsea will turn up for this one

Chelsea will get a draw, minimum, with Spurs - they are all going to be well up for ruining their season tomorrow. Whilst they have been **** for most of the season they have been good of late. Which bodes well for our away game with them - have, and should, win today.

3-1 saints

..and even if Spurs do beat them Chelsea will definitely chuck their game when they play leicester.

I'm also expecting to see some sh*thouse tackles tomorrow from Chelsea if things don't go to plan.

If spurs did manage a win though, pressure on Leicester would be huge. I mean home to everton on form looks alright but they still have dangerous players. And they know that mess that up and it would be very difficult final day at chelsea.

But yeah I think without alli spurs will mess up tomorrow.

Chelsea will chuck it.

There is no way Chelsea are gonna watch Spurs lift that title.

Nope I want spurs to win tonight I want us to be the ones to stop them winning the league.....:smug:

Fair enough Doddsey but I couldn't stand the stress of worrying that Spurs would overhaul Leicester so late in the piece. I'd rather Chelsea bring them to their knees tonight and we finish them off the following week.

Very pleased for Burnley and Dyche. They could have so easily sacked him last year and brought in some quick fix like Redknapp or Warnock but they stuck with him. Hopefully they will spend sensibly and avoid the drop next season.
