Saint Charlie Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Their additional game is against Chelsea so it's not a guaranteed 3 points by any means. Of course not, but we have Spurs away to play still too not to mention City today. To get 7th we will need to win all our last 3 games IMO. Liverpool could still get something from this game if subs have an impact.

But it gives us something to look forward to in these final matches, which makes a change from our usual end of season petering out.
Saint Charlie Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 2-1. Liverpool will get at least a draw. Been all over Swansea this half.
Batman Posted 1 May, 2016 Author Posted 1 May, 2016 Makes our game even more interesting. We got to win. We can win
Pass the Dutchie Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Red card for Liverpool. Game must be done now.
nta786 Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 The thing I love about the Saints these past three years the most is that every game we go into we actually expect something. Very different to the 90s!
Batman Posted 1 May, 2016 Author Posted 1 May, 2016 its like united of old here. Leicester will do well to get anything from today

S-Clarke Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Hard to see Leicester getting anything today unfortunately, they look well off the pace. Looks like the pressure is getting to them a little going by their keystone cops clearances a minute ago.
stockportsaint Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 How is Fellaini not banned permanently? He's an absolute disgrace of a player. Just elbowed Huth twice in the neck and head.

Batman Posted 1 May, 2016 Author Posted 1 May, 2016 thought Simpson was going to be in trouble there. But Lingard just dropped to the ground
5string Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 thought Simpson was going to be in trouble there. But Lingard just dropped to the ground Man Utd players seem to be dropping to the ground an awful lot today
Batman Posted 1 May, 2016 Author Posted 1 May, 2016 Man Utd players seem to be dropping to the ground an awful lot today is stands out how slow Rooney is, also
5string Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 is stands out how slow Rooney is, also Yeah he is - new younger players are showing him up. He's a liability to them these days. Doesn't have the temperament to adapt like Giggs did, either.
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Danny Simpson keeps leaving that left flank wide open and Rojo has put in dangerous crosses the entire game. That Mahrez shout for a pen was a stonewaller for me. He was completely obstructed.

Donatello Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Cork having a great game so far, even aside from the goal. Not sure of any area Clasie is better than Cork in to be honest. He isn't a world class player of course, but is so solid and reliable and has the stamina to be effective for 90mins. All of which is immaterial, as you well know.
Dark Munster Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 He's not very old Giggs was one of the fittest players around however old he was. Same with Beckham. Rooney has always been heavy for a footballer, often seen stuffing chips or with a fag in his mouth. You can get away with it for a while but it won't be a long career. Plus, it's a shame given his talent, if he'd taken his physical fitness as seriously as Ronaldo he'd have been a brilliant player for ages.
Shroppie Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Rooney gets away with a blatant pull back. Should be off. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

doddisalegend Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 All set up for us to deny spurs the title with a rout at WHL
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 rooney gets away with it, drinkwater doesnt Michael Oliver just didn't have the balls to send Rooney off at Old Scaffold. Plain and simple.
hutch Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 very good point for Leicester Doesn't it leave them in exactly the same position as they would have been had they lost?
CB Fry Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Doesn't it leave them in exactly the same position as they would have been had they lost? Ramps up the pressure on Spurs. Shows how they aren't going to choke. Would be a very different story going into tomorrow if they'd lost.
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Doesn't it leave them in exactly the same position as they would have been had they lost? No. Spurs have to win. Spurs could have got away with a draw..but now they've got to win ....I think.
hutch Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Spurs can't drop one point, they have to drop minimum two. But thinking about it Leicester need one less point even if Spurs win all 3 so Batman is right
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Spurs can't drop one point, they have to drop minimum two. If you know ..why ask?.. Makes no sense to me.
Batman Posted 1 May, 2016 Author Posted 1 May, 2016 Spurs can't drop one point, they have to drop minimum two. But thinking about it Leicester need one less point even if Spurs win all 3 so Batman is right I think Spurs will lose tomorrow night anyway. Chelsea will turn up for this one
Chris27687 Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 Chelsea will get a draw, minimum, with Spurs - they are all going to be well up for ruining their season tomorrow. Whilst they have been **** for most of the season they have been good of late. Which bodes well for our away game with them - have, and should, win today. 3-1 saints
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 I think Spurs will lose tomorrow night anyway. Chelsea will turn up for this one ..and even if Spurs do beat them Chelsea will definitely chuck their game when they play leicester. I'm also expecting to see some sh*thouse tackles tomorrow from Chelsea if things don't go to plan.
Dark Munster Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 very good point for Leicester Yes it is. Now they can draw their last 2 matches to win it. And now anything less than 3 wins for Spurs ends it for them.
Ice2Eskimos Posted 1 May, 2016 Posted 1 May, 2016 If spurs did manage a win though, pressure on Leicester would be huge. I mean home to everton on form looks alright but they still have dangerous players. And they know that mess that up and it would be very difficult final day at chelsea. But yeah I think without alli spurs will mess up tomorrow. Chelsea will chuck it. There is no way Chelsea are gonna watch Spurs lift that title.
austsaint Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 One of the odd things about tonights game is you finding yourself barracking for teams like Chelsea!!
doddisalegend Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 One of the odd things about tonights game is you finding yourself barracking for teams like Chelsea!! Nope I want spurs to win tonight I want us to be the ones to stop them winning the league.....
austsaint Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Nope I want spurs to win tonight I want us to be the ones to stop them winning the league..... Fair enough Doddsey but I couldn't stand the stress of worrying that Spurs would overhaul Leicester so late in the piece. I'd rather Chelsea bring them to their knees tonight and we finish them off the following week.
John Boy Saint Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Ah well before the 8pm kick off we have the Championship final games coming to the boil, Boro v Brighton being the pick of the bunch today.
Saint_clark Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Nope I want spurs to win tonight I want us to be the ones to stop them winning the league..... If it goes to the Spurs game then it means Leicester have lost to Everton, so no thanks.
Lets B Avenue Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Ah well before the 8pm kick off we have the Championship final games coming to the boil, Boro v Brighton being the pick of the bunch today. Which Brighton team is that then? I'm watching them play Derby.
John Boy Saint Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Which Brighton team is that then? I'm watching them play Derby. i know........ Wishing my life away somewhat!!
Shroppie Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Well done Burnley. Ought to be 6 points for us next season, but after Leicester, who knows? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
Shroppie Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Will be a cracking game next week. Really hope Brighton can do it, but the draw is against them now - has to be a win. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
John Boy Saint Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Few sore heads tomorrow in Burnley, pleased for Sean Dyche decent manager with the tools he has to work with.
Lighthouse Posted 2 May, 2016 Posted 2 May, 2016 Very pleased for Burnley and Dyche. They could have so easily sacked him last year and brought in some quick fix like Redknapp or Warnock but they stuck with him. Hopefully they will spend sensibly and avoid the drop next season.
