obelisk Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Saints getting in to some good positions but wasteful as usual.
Saint_clark Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Pelle looking good too...possibly injured now though!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Those have been 3 big ones that were hyped up by the players before and then the performances levels were woeful. You can lose any time of course but those 3 performances were total non events. And we have had other big games too and turned up, Chelsea away, Arsenal at home...but we can trust you to focus on anything negative you can think up
St Chalet Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Tadic is so frustrating. Buys himself a yard brilliantly, then completely screws it up.
Saint Charlie Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 And we have had other big games to and turned up, Chelsea away, Arsenal at home...but we can trust you to focus on anything negative you can think up Those weren't especially big at the time though apart from being against big teams. They were good performances but weren't "must win" or "must not lose" games.
Batman Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 so far (again) hardly made their keeper do anything.
Plastic Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Mane either needs to move to a more central position or get swapped for Jrod
Sheaf Saint Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Tadic is so frustrating. Buys himself a yard brilliantly, then completely screws it up. Need to switch him to the left IMO. His crossing with his right foot is awful. Always too deep and lofty for anybody to do anything with.
Donatello Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 We're cutting through their midfield like there not even there, but the passing and control around their 18yard box has been very messy.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Those weren't especially big at the time though apart from being against big teams. They were good performances but weren't "must win" or "must not lose" games. Ok whatever. Must win against Bournemouth...really:)
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Yoshida may be coming on, some of you will be rubbing your hands at the prospect of slagging him off
Saint Charlie Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Thats a blow, especially we we know Clasie will come off between 60-70 so only one tactical sub left.
Plastic Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Thats a blow, especially we we know Clasie will come off between 60-70 so only one tactical sub left. He's been conserving energy, so maybe he'll last to 90
Batman Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 we have been woeful up front again today. loads of space and possession
Saint_clark Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 When the hell did he get a head injury? Looked like Fonte fancied a day off to me! (Obviously kidding). Yoshida to get a goal.
verlaine1979 Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Our attacking play in the final third is woeful. So much possession, so little movement, so few penetrating passes.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 we have been woeful up front again today. loads of space and possession Again as in how long ago....
Sheaf Saint Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Had to be a yellow for Gibson. Long was away otherwise. Could even have been a red.
Saint_clark Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 ****ing fuming. After wanyamas red against west ham, something like that is only a yellow. Joke.
5string Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Agree - that could (should?) have been a red. No intention to play the ball.
5string Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 How is it that profession footballers can't get the ball past the first defender from a corner (or near the corner)? Is it really that hard?
ART Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 Where Fonte is concerned the writing has been on the wall for a while. A new center half for next season has to be a priority. Age is catching up with him and he's struggling to produce the form he's shown in the past which shows by the fouls and desperate moves he is resorting to. Elsewhere, what the hell is Martino doing wrong? Koeman clearly sees what he brings to the team. He gets better and better with every game he plays.
Batman Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 meh. we are the better side here attacking play from open play is awful

SuperSAINT Posted 16 April, 2016 Posted 16 April, 2016 I hope all these chances missed doesn't mean we've had our good half.
