9-3 Posted 2 April, 2016 Share Posted 2 April, 2016 Who would have thought we would be in the position we are now? Thinking back, what a shambles the last couple of years were with Lowe, Wilde and Cowan. Wilde buying up shares every week to get rid of Lowe and make himself look a prima donna and get rid of Lowe was a circus. Then to protect their shares losing money, teamed up after being worst enemies! Where are they now? I've never seen them at St Mary's since. Wade Garrett Posted 3 April, 2016 Share Posted 3 April, 2016 The only person to emerge from that sorry episode with any credit was Leon Crouch, who proved he had nothing but the club's interests at heart.
bender Posted 8 April, 2016 Share Posted 8 April, 2016 I rarely complain about anything going on at the club nowadays simply because of where we were. I'm happy just to be a top half prem team.

This !! Just have a look at Ted`s statue for confirmation of Leon`s support for the club in those dark times.
sadoldgit Posted 9 April, 2016 Share Posted 9 April, 2016 This !! Just have a look at Ted`s statue for confirmation of Leon`s support for the club in those dark times. Would that be the first statue or the second? But yes, things were pretty awful but who knows where we would be if that hadn't happened? We nearly got bought by the consortium that bought Coventry and I remember many on the forum bigging them up. Lord knows we dodged a bullet there. As grim as it was, would anyone have missed the amazing journey we have been on since?
